I find it hard to believe that 1/2 a teaspoon per gallon of bloom is enough. That's very low. I've been going 75%. But not happy. Not burnt. Just not budding like they should. This round I'm giving full strength, so far so good. I have 20mil of bloom in week 3. Again, so far. Ph stable, unlike when I use 75% it drops. Raising it ppm wise, has kept it stable. No burning. I do flush, every 4 weeks water only, 3 days to clean up salt. They eat it up when I start dosing again.

I started out with this recipe as a first time grower in coco coir, and found that some strains were showing N toxicity earlier in veg, and P and K toxicity in bloom when implementing the kool bloom. I countered this by slightly reducing the grow and micro (1 ml each for 3 gallons, so 0.3 ml per gallon)up until late veg, and reducing kool bloom by 1 ml per gallon( half of captains recommended dose). The gelato especially doesn't like the excess N. I'm sure the captains recipe is working for him in DWC, but If you're growing in coco and slightly smaller plants( 4 plants in a 4x4)I highly recommend using my modified version. besides that happy growing everybody and Capn thanks for the recipe.
You can actually do hydro without bennies without ever having a root disease issue. You can just keep your reservoir in the low 70's (or lower). If that's not possible you can use H2O2 at high doses (low doses are a waste). Bleach at 1 drop per gallon (or .05ml.gal) will give you 1 ppm of chlorine which will prevent any kind of root issues, some people only use .5ppm. I've personally ran cycles where my reservoirs were in the high 70's to low 80's and added nothing and had no problems, having a clean source of water to begin with is important too...

This was a big help I can't wait to see what results I will get following your guides! Grow Cubes , this feeding schedule, recharge , multiple transplants , good environment ! You bring this up slowly into veg on ratio 3:2:1? If so what do you start with? Foliage spray, anyone want to convince me? I feel if your roots are serving fine, plain PH foliage spray is plenty.
Have you tried using epsom salt for foliar feeding instead of the special sauces you have? I've tried just about every foliar out there, and epsom salt seems to give same result as the more expensive alternatives. I use half of a 1/4 teaspoon in my 1 liter sprayer and use it sparingly.

Adding LKB at week 5 flower? I've been using it at 2ml per gallon with every nutrient feed from the transition period until week 7🤔 but am giving plant 2 waterings between each feed. I'm on my 3rd grow so what do I know 🤣😭🤷🏼♂️

No. The bacteria do not like the high salt environment. Do not use tap water either, as the chlorine/cloramide in it will kill them. Mix it with just plain R/O water (1/2 teaspoon to a gallon) and pour it around your main plant stalk... Once a week.
@@Des420 Scotty says it can kill some of them but there are so many microbes you are still getting most of the benefits. He never mentions needing to use RO with it actually Scotty hate RO water thinks it wasteful.
I didn't hear you say if you were soil. Or a reservoir. When you're using a recipe that matters. Especially in soil. Some soils hold a charge some don't. So I'd like to know your formula for soil if you I running soil. I've always use Fox Farm ocean. And a half bail of orange sunshine. Then add more perlite. Then I add dolomite. That is my soil recipe. I used other General phonics. The go box and I add other stuff. I use iguana grow. I used to same couple things that you used. The silica. A Licious Plus. Bud Candy. And Nirvana. Then I use either white widow, great white, or Webster, and sometimes I use the O.G.tea. but sometimes I have to use the lime to get the pH right. But I've got it down to where I don't have to use no ph up or down. Pretty good results. But always have to check the runoff to make sure the pH stays right. Always better to be safe than sorry. I've tried Advanced two times. Didn't have good results. Everything went way down. Going back to General phonics. Way better results. I think I almost had a perfect. Only thing I was lacking was a little on the taste. Potency was way up. People thought I was spraying it was a little extra or something. My yield was real High too. A lot of people say they can't get General ponics down. I couldn't get Advance down. Everything looks like shit and it was shit. One thing with advance. When I mixed, pH would always be 6.0 or 6.2 my pH would always be right like they claim. But my plants weren't getting them to grow like General panic. Then in bloom buds were real small. It was awful. Plants look real fine, but they just wood not Branch out like you did with General ponics or bush out. And I used RO water out of Ro 200. And I've mix a little bit of tap water with it .so I could check the pH. Here is $30,000 maybe even more and a couple of years to figure all this out. Spend a lot of money in a lot of time figuring all this out and here I am giving it away.. a lot of trial and error. what works for one grower may not work for another not all grow rooms are the same in all conditions as of water humidity temperature. lot of New Growers overlooked humidity very important to keep it in the right range in Veggie want higher humidity I'd like to keep it around 50. Mark should be about 45 to 55. flowering 30 to 40 percent humidity. I like 33to 35%.
When I run General panic. I used the small boy water system. Way better than tap water. It made a big Improvement when I switch to that. And that works best for this product.
been using stealth 200 for the last year-and-a-half water system. I can get way less ppm's with the 200. than the small boy. Way less Corinne. and it's way easier to hit my pH numbers without using ph up or down.
Hey my man I know this comment is super old, but if you do still check these I'm wondering if you could let me know what nutrient regiment you've been giving your plants using GH? I just started using it myself and cant seem to dial it in, the suggested amounts that come on the GH products would for sure decimate my plants as I'm already using 40% of the recommended nutrients
How often did you use the recharge, how much per gallon?? I water, wait 3-4 days, then feed, wait 3-4 days water...I use the GH base line, M.O.A.B., botonicare sweet raw and now recharge. Just don't know how exactly to best use the recharge
Just go by the bottle recommendations. I tried this recipe and got burned plants, so I just went with the bottle instructions on all nutrients shown here.
What do you ph your nutrient solution two. I'm using your growing style but worn hand watering manual feed. I'm getting purple stems and the upper tops are lighter green.
all you new guys starting to grow. invest into pH meter.. and a nutrient meter,, if you can afford it the blue lab combo meter is nice it will do your pH and you're nutrients and your temperature it would do your nutrients on post scales 700 or the 500 I used to 500. get you a probe about 20 bucks and it will test your alkaline light and most important your moisture. very important to new people always like to over water and overfeed, if you use your probe to check your moisture you will never over water I remember one to two feeds and then one plain water sometimesw 2 when doing soil check your runoff that means the water coming out of the bottom of the pot, take that water and check your pH and then check your nutrients usually don't want to go over 1200 for a big plant, some plants will take 1700 or more and some may not even like to be at 1200,, all that should help you
So question but if I hypothetically mixed enough of a ratios to make a gallon of water but i only use half the gallon. (Or less amount) how long does the mix stay good for? Does the mix go bad? Like if I mad a gallon and use it for the week will that cause the water to dilute?
Regarding pH you adjust according to your type of medium. There are many charts on the internet regarding the recommended pH for Mighty-Juana :D that would prevent nutrient lock outs.
Dude 1 ml per gallon is not correct 4.929 milileters is almost 1 tsp and it said use 1 tsp per gallon or 132 ml per 100 liters which is almost 5 ml per gallon 2 tsp or 10ml and 3 tsp or 15ml per gallon
If you are referring to the GH suggested amounts bear in mind they want you to use more so you have to buy more. I never follow the GH amounts, always gets nutrient burn. My first grow I used: 2 TSP of Micro (veg and bloom), 3 TSP (veg) or 1 TSP (bloom) of Gro, and 1 TSP (veg) or 3 TSP (bloom) of Bloom per 4 gallons of water.
I really like the FloraNova Bloom... Lots of good stuff in there, easy to mix compared to salts and at 7.5ml per gallon, you get a really nice general feed from start to finish. You can grow the rest of your life and not find an easier, better 1 part solution. Only wish it were cheaper.
I think he means teaspoons , I can't grow anything with one milliliter per gallon. I guess it depends on light source. Running 2x1k hps. They like to eat more than 3 mil. Per gallon in bloom!!
@@Des420 i tried it and completed a run. It did ok was deficient most of the time. This time around I have upped my ppms to 80-1000 for vigorous. He says to shoot 6-800 with ppms it seems though so I odn't know where he was getting thiose numbers. THat is unless GH watered down the nutes since this older vid which i would not doubt.

I have not used GH's 3 part for a very long time, but I think they have stayed the same according to the label contents. I was going to look at the ppm breakdown, but I don't even have the GH Grow in the database because I never really used it with Lucas' Formula and didn't think to add it... I wouldn't doubt if it wasn't deficient in some way though.
I have tried this recipe three times now and I keep getting 1500-1600 ppm per gal (and that’s excluding the Florablend and the Floralicious Plus). Any ideas as to why? Thanks!!
@@tradez5799 how do you grow anything on such a small amount?. 3ml. Sounds way low What is your ppm meter read?. With only 3mil 2mil 1mil. I'm using half ro, my tap is a lil high. Almost 260. That comes down to around 150. But I add 75% strength, so Still 321, just lower. But in teaspoons! I do rdwc. And top off with plain water. My ppm meter says around 850 ppm If I use full strength And around 650 at 75% Seems about right to most that talk ppm.
Auto's tend to be more sensitive to "hot" soil so if I were you I would look up a feeding schedule specifically formulated by General Hydroponics for the medium type you are using and also ensure the soil does not have a high nutrient index or PPM as this will make the soil "hot" and cause nutrient burn causing your auto's to grow slower and in turn yielding less.

Ahh the old 3-2-1 / 2-2-2 / 1-2-3 method tried and true for over 20 years!
Although 3ml of Grow per gallon is LOW though... Directions say 3 Tsp, which is 18mL per gallon!

You could also counter the N toxicity by not implementing the floralicious plus until mid to late veg, but I haven't tried this.

You can mix them in the same water, just add them one at a time and stir before you add the next one. Always add the micro to the water first though.

So question but if I hypothetically mixed enough of a ratios to make a gallon of water but i only use half the gallon. (Or less amount) how long does the mix stay good for? Does the mix go bad? Like if I mad a gallon and use it for the week will that cause the water to dilute?

Regarding pH you adjust according to your type of medium. There are many charts on the internet regarding the recommended pH for Mighty-Juana :D that would prevent nutrient lock outs.

i just use what the container it comes in says 1/2tsp per gallon it does say you can use more but its expensive so i just go with the 1/2tsp

Dude 1 ml per gallon is not correct 4.929 milileters is almost 1 tsp and it said use 1 tsp per gallon or 132 ml per 100 liters which is almost 5 ml per gallon 2 tsp or 10ml and 3 tsp or 15ml per gallon
If you are referring to the GH suggested amounts bear in mind they want you to use more so you have to buy more. I never follow the GH amounts, always gets nutrient burn. My first grow I used: 2 TSP of Micro (veg and bloom), 3 TSP (veg) or 1 TSP (bloom) of Gro, and 1 TSP (veg) or 3 TSP (bloom) of Bloom per 4 gallons of water.

I am using gh one part grow and my plants love it
I really like the FloraNova Bloom... Lots of good stuff in there, easy to mix compared to salts and at 7.5ml per gallon, you get a really nice general feed from start to finish. You can grow the rest of your life and not find an easier, better 1 part solution. Only wish it were cheaper.

this recipe is really light on ppm. hes using 3ml per gallon from veg all the way through flower? that doesnt seem high enough.

He's using 6ml per gallon total. In veg it's: 3ml grow, 2ml micro, 1ml bloom. Then in flower it's: 3ml bloom, 2ml micro, 1ml grow.
@@Des420 i tried it and completed a run. It did ok was deficient most of the time. This time around I have upped my ppms to 80-1000 for vigorous. He says to shoot 6-800 with ppms it seems though so I odn't know where he was getting thiose numbers. THat is unless GH watered down the nutes since this older vid which i would not doubt.

I have not used GH's 3 part for a very long time, but I think they have stayed the same according to the label contents. I was going to look at the ppm breakdown, but I don't even have the GH Grow in the database because I never really used it with Lucas' Formula and didn't think to add it... I wouldn't doubt if it wasn't deficient in some way though.

I have tried this recipe three times now and I keep getting 1500-1600 ppm per gal (and that’s excluding the Florablend and the Floralicious Plus). Any ideas as to why? Thanks!!
All the PPM of these many ingredients plus the ppm of your water.

3ml, 2ml, 1ml plus additives would not be that many PPM. Per gallon Your meter may be fucked up

What is your ppm meter read?. With only 3mil 2mil 1mil.
I'm using half ro, my tap is a lil high. Almost 260. That comes down to around 150.
But I add 75% strength, so
Still 321, just lower. But in teaspoons! I do rdwc. And top off with plain water.
My ppm meter says around 850 ppm If I use full strength
And around 650 at 75%
Seems about right to most that talk ppm.

Did you use any, howd it turn out?
Auto's tend to be more sensitive to "hot" soil so if I were you I would look up a feeding schedule specifically formulated by General Hydroponics for the medium type you are using and also ensure the soil does not have a high nutrient index or PPM as this will make the soil "hot" and cause nutrient burn causing your auto's to grow slower and in turn yielding less.
