What command did u use? I had to add an extra word I remember. For example if I only input the command "fastboot devices" I got your same error message, thought it was drivers it wasn't. Then I started trying all kinds of shit. I think I got into fastboot by adb reboot bootloader fastboot. I'll try now and see if I can confirm

Harsha Vardhan man this happened to me with. Pixel i bricked it trying to root it with kingroot. Then it didn't want to restart, i tried to flash it but i left oem bootldr locked. I created a topic on xda i explained everything, in less than a day i was back in. I forgot how i did but i downloaded an update file, then i flashed it via a command that apparently didn't required adb...then it started fresh new.

Ye...bricked my phone using this. First did the unlock of bootloader which wiped my phone. then booted into fastboot, ran the 70hz flasher not 72. Now my phone is stuck on the boot loader unlocked warning screen and just keeps doing a crashdump if i try getting into fastboot.

ON another note I follow your channel and have since the note 3 but I saw this video pop up and just wanted to post a question... So I have a T-Mobile Samsung Note 8. I unlocked it, started using it on AT&T Prepaid. I get an OTA Update notification. I click to update because I am thinking it will upgrade my OS to 8.1 it in fact did not. It switched the OS Rom from an T-Mobile Rom to an AT&T Rom without my consent. Now I have all of this shitty bloatware on my device from AT&T which I do not want on the device. I have not found a good way to root the phone to remove the crappy software. What should I do? How to fix this issue? If I do a hard reset will it switch it back to the T-Mobile Rom? How can a carrier just take ownership of a device that is owned by another carrier and install their software on the device? If I buy an unlocked device, do they have the right to do their OTA updates installing their shitty evasive software on my device? I would say hail to the hailstorm NO! I want to root it and have ownership of my own device and lock them out. Suggestions are much appreciated!
Oh I think the Note 8 U.S. models will change according to your CSC. There are some guide on XDA where you can convert it into fully U.S. unlocked firmware but I think it only works for Nougat. My best advice is to sell it and grab the international model, which also has dual sim option that gives you dual sim. Plus all 4G LTE bands are supported, I don't buy U.S. models anymore because of locked bootloaders and you can't get full root. There is SamFail root method but that method limits your battery charging to 80%. So best way is to get the international model, which is also cheaper than U.S. models.
Can we please get an update for newer devices? I cannot find "OEM unlocking" and whenever I try fastboot through PC, I get "waiting for device" how is someone supposed to unlock the device state, if you can't do any oem unlock or fast boot oem unlock. I have already tried the "tricks " and non of them work. There should be someway to enable oem unlocking. If not. Then I believe these companies like Verizon should be sued for not allowing its consumers the ability to do what they want with a product they purchased. It got me into fast boot mode but promptly stopped trying to unlock the boot loader

They are all SIM UNLOCKED, but you have to unlock the BOOTLOADER, two completely different things.
