Root is lost after an update because the original boot image is replaced with the new software update. You can root again, but make sure to follow the proper steps to avoid issues like bootloop.

Ramdisk isn't something that can be 'set'; it's part of your device's Android build-either your device has it, or it doesn't. Since your phone is working fine with root and Superuser, there’s no immediate concern.
