OLD LEATHER SMITH here. Thanks Chuck, Great Job, I really appreciate your enthusiasm, that's how I feel when I have a client come 2 me with an idea I have NEVER done before, thanks again leather friend. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
You're enthusiasm is really motivating. I'm working hard to get my shop (cargo trailer conversion) finished so I can start playing with stamps and designs. I'll be able to be mobile now
This series has been amazing! So many new ideas and inspiration. Thanks for your hard work and willingness to share. I'm happy to say that my leatherwork presents for Christmas this year all came from Weaver, so thanks again!
Nice video thanks, I'll definitely have to try that with the paint and neutral antique. I like the hourglass stamp a lot but 26 dollars is kind of rich for my blood
Have really enjoyed this series- thank you! Have also recently joined your Facebook fan page and it’s amazing and inspiring to see all of the incredible talent out there and for you to have played a part in that … well, what more could a person ask for in this life than to inspire another.
Great series! Two questions though: How long to let the antique sit on the project before buffing the excess off, and how long to let it dry after that, but before you apply the topcoat? I've noticed the antique can be much more difficult to buff off if you let it sit too long.
Chuck, brother i LOVE you videos, but can you do something about the over exposure? The light balance is over exposed and I can barely ever see stuff that is detailed because of the light over exposure. It sure would help us to see things better if the white balance was corrected. Thanks in advance my friend, sincerely love the videos and am grateful for all you have learned me 🙂
John Potgirter does this round leather stamping that's a lot of fun to do, and it also add to the endless possibilities of stamping. You can check to out here th-cam.com/video/tb-Idjx3k3Y/w-d-xo.html
You’re so right- John Potgieter is absolutely brilliant. Some of the ideas he comes up with are so interesting, like Chuck Dorsett, I think he has a “ Sky’s the limit” mentality.

Greetings from Germany 👍🏻🤙🏻
OMG this series is awesome
Hola chuck, muy lindos tus video gracias por compartir tu conocimiento. Un abrazo.
Wow chuck! Those black arm guards are gorgeous!! Looks similar to the ones used in The Witcher show
Happy New Year. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with your videos.

Neutral antique with paint, stop it Chuck! I don’t have room for any more supplies 😂.
Great video series, thank you.

If you want to put stamps/tooling designs on a wet molded project, can you stamp/carve while its forming? Or do you need to do them as separate steps?

Don't really care for spots on my projects. But that's just me...
I"ve used small silver and brass double headed rivets in place of spots on a watch band, but its still too much shine.
