In this week's episode of "The Leather Element", Chuck answers some of your questions about wet molding leather. We will show you the process of soaking the leather and forming it using a wood mold and your hands as well as a wooden frame mold.

I can’t wait to try this out! The cost of buying a mold for wet forming is crazy. I imagine if you were mass producing then it might be cost effective but with your methods they seem like they could last just as long if taken care of AND you get the benefit of personalization. You are awesome sir and Weaver Leather has a true treasure in in you.

Man, did you just open a whole new world of creativity for me, Chuck. For example, in keeping with your pouch demonstration it occurred to me to enclose all four sides for a shadow box effect. Fasten plexiglas, etc., (Chicago screws), to the flat sides and there you go! Thank you.
