You can still play any of the old games and rulesets you want. And not games were simple as you say. As far as new games go unless you’re playing in an official tournament there’s no reason why you can’t house rule games down to as simple as you like. This ability is one of the things IMO that makes this type of game better than video games where rules are set in stone. ✌️
Really well done. Very straightforward and concise. Gives a very good overview of the basic mechanics. Excellent production as usual. Cant wait to start playing.
Great video, just one thing I need to ask... at 2:04 do you choose them from a face down position so it's random or do you choose which one you want to do? Same with the Vito-ing part?
@@crayzeewhorse page 19 of the rulebook. You grab a card from a facedown deck. In the listbuilding step you choose your objectives so you roughly know what they are but yeah it’s random to prevent certain list from dominating
Needlessly overcomplicated. I remember the good old days (1985) when games were short and to the point on rule sets. BattleTech, Car Wars, and Star Trek spaceship battle tabletop games. These days it seems every company wants to add these senseless rules and stupidity to make themselves look in-depth. It's not a good thing.
Comprehensive video. One note though: it would be worth mentioning that you need 3 corps units in your roster (outside of battleforce) :)
I needed this refresher for a tournament coming up. Thank you for making this overview without 20 extra minutes of commentary on the new rules!

Thanks for the video! Really helped us a lot with our first games.
Oh thank you. I'd played about a dozen games at home and haven't totally understood the changes.
Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial
