@@lashellecoleman2754It's for her TH-cam channel, or for special occasions like a wedding or event. Tip not included. Lol. I would leave 20%, which would add about $80 to the bill.
I've been following Jounails for who knows how long now. Absolutely stunning sets every time. The nail tech did amazing! I miss getting my nails done 😢
Can tell that price point is in Sydney. In Melbourne at a premium korean salon you can get full set extensions (Hard gel ones, not Gel X) and an artist who will actually hand paint the stars and moons and wont use putty gel that sticks out and pay at least $150 less
How can nail charms and sticker application cost more than the actual “making” of the nail? I would totally understand if the charms were high value gems or something and the nail art was hand painted instead of stickers. 100+ dollars for decorations that are worth mostly a few cents sounds bizarre to me.😂 They did come out cute, but still…😅
@jetson10100 yes, absolutely, I understand that, I just would've expected the shaping, polishing and the other stuff before charm application to be more expensive compared to charms and stickers. But I suppose It does take quite some time to place all the stones and decorations...
@@krystalynkersey In most salons the art is priced per nail. If charms cost $5 /nail, cat eye is $5 /nail, bling costs $5/nail. That's already an additional $15/5 and she got all 10 nails done. With me just guessing how much they charge per nail it's already at $150 just for the art.
The way I ran to the comments to see if anyone else was bothered by the LUMPS of gel you could see. Such pretty nails and clearly a very skilled tech but my lord that would have given me pause
I love these videos, if the background music was a bit more soothing music rather than 80s synth I would add this to my calming playlist and re-watch regularly! ❤
They look great! I'm a nail tech in Michigan, that's close to my prices, I would have charged 145 for getting a full set (Russian manicure technique, extensions with hard gel) then 20 for the ombre on all 10 fingers then 120 for the art so total $285
I guess you have to look at it as artistry & a specialized skill. It’s definitely not affordable for everyone. I wonder how long it lasts? I could see someone doing that for a special occasion like a wedding or graduation. It could be a gift from a family.
These are so beautifulll!!! Though in case you didn't know, russian manicures can be very dangerous and cause permanent damage to your nail matrix and eponychium :c Its technically live skin they are removing and that part being removed helps prevent infection! Be safe!!
I think next nail video you should try a design that’s out of the box, don’t get me wrong I love the style and the look you always go for, I just think it’d be fun to try something crazy. Your nail and fashion videos are my favorite and I’d really love to visit Australia!❤😊
Hello Tina love your videos I am looking to add skincare. I would like to know which Korean skincare you recommend. I’m seeking Korean skincare because I heard they’re the best. Maybe a future video 😁.
I know I don't have the patience for that level of intricacy in my nails, or length. So it's always a relief to see the price tag. 😅The person I go to every few weeks does my gel overlays for what google tells me is about 40 Aus $.
you can pay that amount in CNY in china for a same set and maybe better technique tbh that builder gel(?) showing from the sides of the gems are bothering me lol
They look very unique and extra. How long to they typically last? Who is the typical customer for that price point? Rich upper class people? Or middle class for a special occasion treat? Like Weddings, prom, or graduation?
I wish i had the patience to sit long enough for fancy nails. I only get builder gel (beacuse my nails are really thin) and a color gel polish on top, and by the end I'm already tired
does anyone know any tips to stop biting your nails? i wanna be able to get extensions like this but they can never do it cause i have auch ljttle natural nail 😓 i tried the nasty tasting stuff and it didnt work
That is so beautiful but I could never pay that in South Africa, it’s thousands of rands! Literally someone’s pay cheque 😢 but regardless very stunning nails.
It’s about the same strength as your standard acrylic nails. You can of course wash your hair without damaging it, you might stain in the nails though if you have a dye in your hair. They should last at least three weeks if the nail tech does them correctly
They’re definitely strong but I beg to differ with the hair portion just because every time I get charms my hair gets caught in my nails and I have to be extra careful or they’ll get stuck somewhere
@@xvanesa24 my mind completely blanked, and didn’t think about the durability of the charms 😂. The nail itself will definitely be fine with hair washing, but yes the charms will get stuck in hair.
@@wickedcherub realistically, most places do not charge this much for nails with charms. There was definitely a big up-charge here. Plus, the nails themselves will be durable, it’s just the charms can get caught in your hair. But in my experience, the charms should not get yanked off when washing or styling your hair unless you’re being really aggressive.
I nails can be very beautiful but I couldn’t do anything with them on. Especially with a toddler and work. My nails grow long naturally and when I start stabbing myself it’s time to whack them off some. 😂
It must be just me. I’m so sorry but I think it’s ugly. They would have to pay me $360 to wear that but then I would be too embarrassed to show anyone. But you know, if it makes you happy, I’m all for it. I love you though, Tina, and all your videos!🫶🏻🫶🏻
I didn’t like them either. I don’t personally like the bling charm aesthetic, but I can appreciate when a nail technician has a style and is good at their job. Some of the Korean nails that have been featured were amazing, even if that particular style is not something I would wear. But this video with these nails-they just felt kinda lackluster, I guess? The inspiration picture had a more cohesive theme and the nail color was stronger, I thought. Maybe it felt like they committed more to the style. This set of nails looked more jumbled and the pieces more disparate and mismatched, if that makes sense. But what do it know? I’m just a casual viewer.
wow, 360 dollars, but it's actually a piece of art! it costs about 60 dollars in Russia, and without art it's about 25 dollars, or 30 dollars with simple design
It's heartbreaking to see people overlook others' time and skill developed over years of dedicated learning and experience, complaining about the cost instead of congratulating them on their career success. It's sad.
I love Jounail. She is one of my favorite nail artist ever.
