Rory - I wish he were still here with us and still playing
That second solo, no one comes close to Rory.
Never appreciated and underrated in the States, shame. Absolute legend in Europe, his appearances on Rockblast and Montraux ( apologies for misspelling) have earned him that status alone. Rest in peace Rory and thank you for your music.
Such a loss at such a young age
Marshall/Strat tone at it's best
After one has heard the second solo, and there's no commitments left in life, one could afford to die.
Those subtle finger networks on the fret board just set this man apart from anyone I know except for Gary Moore
You have to love the Irish
So true! By the way my two favorite guitar player’s, and Clapton is my least favorite!
Born irish
And norn Irish
"Calling Card" was produced by Roger Glover...
I think Rory clearly inspired some Rainbow's songs with this album.
I need oxygen after that! Fierce exactly what stripped down in your face R&R is all about! Sorry you left us so young Rory
Better than antidepressants!
You got to hear it to believe it.
I gave 2 guys from Iceland stage struck while on holiday in Italy they played it constantly for 2 weeks
Gerry and Brendan make this song come alive. The bass is turned up and kicking ass at just the right moments,--Brendan keeps it moving without sinking into metal cliche. Rory just sits on top of it all and makes magic. Love it!
Im happy you mentioned that. There is chemistry between these three gentlemen that any musician would envy, and be in outright awe.
Hey Regina nearly a decade later and your words still mean something 😜 so it must be true.
What happened to these guys after Rory passed?
My great regret is never seeing him live
Now it is too late. The man won't ever wake up again. This is life!
He was awesome! Liverpool Stadium in 1970's!
love that lead riff Mr G! rock it brothers
He should have been much bigger apparently his management did a shitty job,his whole band is spot on,RIP
We got to see him for the last time in rhyl where he did a one off stop on his way home,i love the guy to bits.
The bass player is all in, bro!!! Lol he's killin it!
Rory gives me goosebumps! Scary talent! R.I.P.
Rory was and Will be the Best among the Best.
Thank you for your musical heritage.
Rest In Peace
A true power trio through and through
Even if i mute this vid. Still gives me a goose bump. He can do whatever he want end up it was lit
Rory is fabulous as usual and Brendan is a machine on drums.
Rory, love you so much..
Tasteful (no pun) use of pinch harmonics (Zakk take note) and only tiny nods to EVH - this man had class. So happy to have seen him live in this era. RIP master.
HE LEFT US TO FAST
He is a beast!! Love this song,
I love Zach Wilde and Eddie Van Halen but both are a few notches below Rory!
Rip master.
He was a whirlwind
We ll never forget you.Rory the best.R.I.P.

Rory Gallagher performs at Montreux (1985)!!
Beyond great! This is so great that it should have millions of views! I love this performance by Rory!
Rory the best ever
Grandioso Rory siempre.
Siempre..
Saw them in Karlsruhe Germany Sept. 1977. Unbelievable energy from a trio.
Rory played with a 4 piece band (Gerry Mcavoy, Bass, Lou Martin, Keyboards and Rod De'Ath, Drums) until late 1977. Their last performance together was at The Hammersmith Odeon after which Lou and Rod left the band. Rory then recruited Ted Mckenna on drums and they became a power trio and it was this line up that recorded the re-worked Photo Finish Album in the summer of 1978.
Ich war auch bei dem Karlsruher Konzert. Fantastisch
somewhere on the right of the stage .... there is my head moving ;)
Absolutely fantastic version! This man put everything in him into his music and his performances and it certainly shows. No one has ever given more than Rory and I don't think anyone ever will. Angel Rory I will love you for all eternity. Thank you for bringing such Joy to so many. You will never ever be forgotten and I'm so glad you left us your wonderful awesome music 🎶🎸🍀🎼
Great version of Moonchild. All have listen to The Stage Struck Album version 👍
tremendo
F***ing brilliant ✌
The best !
Wow, that is stunning! I l am an old guy who has listened to rock music for a long time but had never heard of Rory Gallagher until I saw his name mentioned (many times) on other sites where I was watching other guitarists like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter. I figured I should go see what he was about. His playing and feel for the song is just fantastic! The bass player is in such synchrony with him and is terrific in his own rite. That beat up Stratocaster reminds me of Stevie Ray's guitar! I agree with this quote I saw about him...."the best guitarist you never heard of". Glad I finally got to listen.
best live version Rory ever !!!!
Beyond quality
Fabulous!
UNS DOS MEUS HERÓIS ❤❤🇧🇷💯
Era foda na guitarra! Já perdi as contas de quantas já bebi ouvindo ele tocar.
Should be in the rock n roll hall of fame. Period
ABSOLUTELY!!!!
@@mpaktiv1531 Garry Moore as well!
@@robertrohde4579 Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore two of the greatest and influential 🎸 heroes that ever walked the face of earth, they are to good for the rock n roll hall of fame.it’s so beneath them.
BEST RIP
I see a lot of similarities between Rory and Gerry with Pat Travers and Mars Cowling and Frank Marino with Paul Harwood, too. With all three examples, it was as though the guitar and bass were the same instrument, an infrequent occurrence.
I agree!
Потрясающая музыка. И исполнение.
MAGIC ❤️✌️Xx
his best version!
Cantava e tocava muiiittooo , show , que som !!!
Vdd 🎵🎼🎶🎤🎸😎👊
Fakkin maestro!
excellent
Adoro muito, 🌷🌹🌼
seems nobody else sees it here but Rory is already on his retour here. you hear it in his voice the real fire and passion has gone . his playing is still great though
Bravissimo
Irish make very good musician!
Like the Beatles 😮!😊
Damn
I just hope that one of the many international moon missions will find this child! :-D
Cute.🎉
Guitarra, baixo e bateria
Simples assim.
El Hefe! That's all that needs to be said.
This riff sounds familiar. I think Bruce Dickinson's solo band ripped it off on the chemical wedding
E AÍ algum Brasuca por aí CARALHOOOOOOOO
"moonchild" and "seventh son of a seventh son" ..... Did Maiden get ideas from Rory
amen bro great similarities
Clearly Iron Maiden come from him.
2 minutes to midnight ☺️
Best AFTER J. D WINTER!
