tears of happiness watching this, 1 touch to control the pass, second to get it out of his feet and the third to show awesome technique and chip the keeper from the edge of the box
Well me being Português and a Benfica fan, I would have to say Rui Costa! My heart says Rui Costa, the of a definition of a graceful player. But Zidane runs him very close, I saw the great man live only once, against Portugal at Euro 2000. The greatest performance I have ever seen by one player. And he has had many! But for me, Rui Costa in my heart will be the greatest! I do think that's why Messi is not even close. He hasn't carried an average side, plus tackling has been totally taken out.
Dennis Bergkamp for the next Netherlands coach please! He can teach Van Persie and Huntelaar on how to score a real world class goal and hopefully bring the World Cup to the Netherlands.
The cc caption shit in english is brilliant. Bergkamp on his goal: 'the quake and thinking during a flight to see the winter through the transmitter..'
I think Henry would have something to say for that, being the top goal scorer for the Gooners and all that jazz...Tony Adams maybe? His loyalty and consistent ability cannot be underrated. Ian Wright was consistently scoring in an Arsenal side that was so defensive fans chanted 1-0 to the Arsenal. Longevity, success and influence on the side come into contention, markers if you will. Vieira had arguably all three, as did Adams and Bergkamp. But Henry had all that and a bit more.
No way was Bergkamp better that Zizou, even if we both share the same surname. Zidane was 3 times Worlds Best Player when we had the greatest names ever to play the game all playing at the same time. Zidane carried France to a World Cup and a Euros. He won the European Cup. He played for the greatest ever Juventus side, and was the star guy, the second best Real side, and was the star guy. Bergkamp was great, but he wasn't perfect. The difference between Zidane and the rest is incomparable.
What did Van Persie do for The Netherlands in the World Cup? What did Van Persie do for The Netherlands in the Euros? Ever been in the ballon d'or top 3? Ever been in the FIFA World player of the year top 3? Did he have 166 assists like Dennis did for Arsenal? Van Persie was only world class for 2 seasons 11/12 & 12/13 during his entire career. Bergkamp is renowned as the greatest ever Dutch player in history only behind to Johan Cruyff and Marco Van Basten. Van Persie has never earned that legacy
@oMeGaSoLjaX He already celebrate, against argentina in 1998 for example, but it was for really important goals, and he wasn't showing off, it was true happiness :p Effectively, one of the classiest professional player ever, I don't know if he's a class symbol, but anyway, almost every football players sucks, certainly because of all that money, he's one of the few players who don't.
I guess you totally missed the Ajax logo at the beginning? Or the Ajax logo on the Ajax designed shirt that he was wearing? Or that he was talking in Dutch and had fellow Dutch and Ajax players, also with an Ajax logo below them, talking about Bergkamp? Or maybe, maybe, maybe the final send off with the Ajax logo again showing before the close of the picture? I guess not. He was playing for PSV.
@MrGoonerboi to be honest with you , i realy enjoy when i watche van persi game but he's not in the same level with Bergkamp, But when i watched Dennis i just say Waaaaaaaaaw "how can he do something like that? unexpected things, didyou know what i mean?
As much as everyone knew just how good this guy was, I still think he was underrated.
Class is permanent !!
Bergkamp is a world class player, best signing arsenal made in the 90's
Respect for the best, you are the man who obligated me to LOVE both Arsenal and Netherlands.
Classic Bergkamp! Casually walks away after an insane goal like it's every day business! The man is absolute brilliance!!
Beautiful goal by my all time favorite player!
Dennis, keep it up!
tears of happiness watching this, 1 touch to control the pass, second to get it out of his feet and the third to show awesome technique and chip the keeper from the edge of the box
He knows it's a goal before it even passes the line. He shoots and then while the ball is still in flight begins to walk away.
Brilliant!
Legend! He's not all-time top scorer at Arsenal, but if you watch Arsenal's most beautiful goals compilations, Dennis is there in about 70% of them :)
One of our favourite players of all time here @ JimmyRiddlerTV.

god how we need him now.
he makes it look so easy.

best player to ever play in E.P.L simple as that.... he could still be playing in the arsenal first team now i think
and the crowd goes wild
Dennis Bergkamp for the next Netherlands coach please! He can teach Van Persie and Huntelaar on how to score a real world class goal and hopefully bring the World Cup to the Netherlands.
thanks

The cc caption shit in english is brilliant. Bergkamp on his goal: 'the quake and thinking during a flight to see the winter through the transmitter..'

Greatest Arsenal player.

معلم يا دينيس و هاتفضل طول عمرك معلم حتى لو بلغت الخمسين ....لاعب ملتزم و محترف بمعنى الكلمة
Dennis Bergkamp does what he wants
Damn! and hes 40 years old.
I don't think there will ever be a more skilful player to play for the Arsenal than DB
Class.............!
9/9/09 was my brothers wedding

He will one day, hes at Ajax as a coach i think.
he make's it look so damn easy...
Love how he justs walks away like. "Yeah do that in my sleep, what's the big deal"
LEGEND!!! DB 10
how does the crowd not go crazy for that goal?
@hardwired90 it's against de kennemers, i think. they are a club from beverwijk. It´s the club were van der vaart started.
Indeed, he is assistant to head coach Frank de Boer.
No discussion needed here kid...

jesus the crowd went fucking mental!!!
@oMeGaSoLjaX He already celebrate, against argentina in 1998 for example, but it was for really important goals, and he wasn't showing off, it was true happiness :p
Effectively, one of the classiest professional player ever, I don't know if he's a class symbol, but anyway, almost every football players sucks, certainly because of all that money, he's one of the few players who don't.
signature van persie move
Big crowd in.
hehehe dont understand a word, but bergkamp is masterclass!
Bruce Ricoch should get a statue just for signing this man.
not to show off but sadly i never had the chance or opportunity for a scout to see me play
learnt of the best, heskey.
@daanovic yeah, he is retired. but is forever an arsenal legend. our top 5 best player in history.
when bergkamp retired.................that was the end of road for arsenal
why is he playing in this division...he should be up there with arsenal and henry! ggmu
Hahahahahaha even before the ball was in the back of the net, he started walking off.....LIKE A BOSS!!!!!!
just coz your retired doesn't mean your not good anymore!!! u just want to rest and enjoy the money like a boss ;)

literally a walk in the park.
this man's skilled rivaled that of the great Zinedine Zidane
ps. I love making world class footy players sound like Marvel Superheroes.
love the fact no one gave a shit that the goal went in.
Messi saw this and decided he'd score with a pretty lob every game this season
09/09/09 my birthday :D
@daanovic true, but i think van persie might be better then him when van persie retires. what do you think? its a close one.
These were true legends, not like Messi, Cristiano ronaldo etc
Sjaak is een baas.
legend, bebartov has a similar cool
You are probably to young to have seen bergkamp then
"You don't buy them, they don't come in packets!"
There's more atmosphere in a mouldy potato than this game, but still world class goal!
No he went to a RIVAL. We're mad because now the opposition are stronger. It shouldn't have happened.
who's better... bergkamp or van persie?
@MrGoonerboi to be honest with you , i realy enjoy when i watche van persi game but he's not in the same level with Bergkamp, But when i watched Dennis i just say Waaaaaaaaaw "how can he do something like that? unexpected things, didyou know what i mean?
obviously
He's not even trying, he just chips it in, easy as that.
Bergkamp > vPersie. Knockout!
His comment after the goal is funny. There are still goal keepers who fall for that trick... Hahahahaha
@TheFooche he has it was probably a friendly (coaches vs youth ) something like that
Im dutch & love both players, but c'mon, Van Persie is a great player but Bergkamp is a master.
