Your finger numbness sounds like carpal tunnel, you can get a nighttime thumb and wrist splint at the drugstore and wear it at night and when you're resting to see if that helps. General anti inflammation is also good. I'm not a doctor quite yet but that's an easy fix :)

Had the same problem in my left hand a few months back. I have an old hip injury that flares up occasionally. It's sometime a surprise where it is going to hit. Stretching my fingers and massaging them helped. For inflammation I take ginger and turmeric supplements . Also Moringa powder in smoothies helps. Steaks looked great. Best wishes.
Well those steaks look great and as of the numbness in your hand I have the same thing where I had a wreck on my Harley Davidson and it comes from my neck
Yup. I broke my neck by diving into shallow water when I was 17. There's days I can't work because my hands have no strength. You are right about eating a good diet rich in fat and protein but don't forget probiotics its really important for healing. I prefer to get them naturally by vinegar, kombucha, yogurt, etc....

Spending next 4 days scouting elk, setting up spike camp and shooting my bow. With all the work your doing, I wouldn't be surprised about the inflammation. As a type 1 Diabetic, going completely keto was almost impossible. I was close to it though and I stayed there for almost a year. It works. Awesome video Bridget! 👍😁

I have a bulged disk in my neck. My thumb and index finger burn and then go numb. Also, my forearm and tricep cramp really bad. I tried spinal injections. They provided minimal relief. If you can manage it, I would not get cut. Many blessings.

From the sound of the degree of numbness you have a pinched nerve. My left hand is my issue too. The pinky and the finger next to it stay numb. I then developed cramps that start with those two fingers and then then center finger and index finger and then can go up into the left forearm. To quote my late neighbor he said Kenny getting old is hell. He was 92 at the time. If you have been told not to do surgery until necessary there are certain age limitations at such time they will not recommend surgery because it won't last. In my case I am well beyond that age. I hope what you are doing works. If not find the best neurosurgeon and discuss your options. Dr. Javier Garcia (His practice name) is with the Lyerly group at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. It takes three months to get an appointment but he is the doctor the doctors go to. He did my brothers surgery that lasted two days and my spinal surgery in 2016. He is the doctor that did not recommend fusion or the straightening my back. A friend of mine had fusion and she said it did not help much and the pain was still there. a former coworker went through neck surgery with another member of the Lyerly group and she said it was great after the surgery.
