  • Heya guys! It's been awhile since I've made a update, but I took a glance at my oldest video and just thought "this ain't good enough", so here's a better refresh and update on how my voice has progressed since then!
If you're interested in more and are super serious about vocal feminization, check out my friend Rachel's fiverr. They do 1-on-1 vocal lessons online with students all over the world. If that sounds like your cup of tea, here you go!

    Good luck! :)

Hey, man. I've been learning to do girl voice for more than one year and thank you for your videos. I have watched several youtubers who teach how to do the voice and I took a little bit from everyone. I have complex PTSD and sometimes it's hard to get relaxed cuz your muscles get strained which makes doing the voice difficult. And I need to hold my voice stability because it always gets lower after I say one or two words so I need constantly remind myself to hold my adam's apple in upper position and I need to learn to speak in a low volume like I do in ordinary life. Speaking in a high volume is kinda easier though. I found out that alcohol-FREE beer makes me doing the voice easier it works as a grease to my vocal chords. It's very dry at my place especially during the winter so my throat is always dry. But in summer I even don't need to drink when doing the voice. Anyway, thank you. I like my voice. I also became capable of doing anime voices of different age, from kids to adults. So cool.

I've been only trying this for about an hour but the combination of the R method and a throat flicking one I learned from another guide is giving me a good base to work off of already!

You are really good at what you doing. R technic helped me to change my voice and made my life easier because people tend to react weird or even aggressive when you look like a girl but have boish voice. It made me afraid to speak in public sometimes. Also I love your male voice

I’m low on funds. Otherwise, I’d take your class in an instant. People have told me that my voice is pretty good. I’m still striving, though, to make it better.

The voice is definitely a challenge, and takes lots of practice and I'm happy to see that something I did for fun has been helpful!
I don't personally have any classes, nor have I ever taken any- though nowadays my friend Rachel does host classes at transvoice.com with honestly baffling results- but my content and anything I learn will be here on youtube and always be free to watch! But with that said, what do you think would help you make your voice better?

@@joanz4811 I’m going to think about that. I feel like my voice sometimes goes a bit too high. I’d also like to know if the voice authentically sounds feminine outside my own ears.

Your voice is great! The R technique has worked wonders in terms of helping me progress. There is, however, this low undertone in the back whenever i try to do it. Not sure how to get rid of it.

The time it takes for someone to develop a convincing voice depends a lot. Singers or voice impressionists would find it easier. It's about pitch control and a slice of role-playing.
I made this video about 6 months into practicing almost daily. It's been a couple years since then- and now I feel I've got a better grasp of it personally.
I'm not trans or anything, so this is something I did for fun and just because I could- but if you're really serious about it, it could only take a couple weeks of practice if you do it right. Record yourself, find reference phrases you would like to be able to say, mimic, record, repeat.
I met a person who'd never done it before and wanted to learn- took under 3 minutes and they already had an amazing voice- that was what had originally inspired me to share the little I know with everyone!

But seriously- How long do you think it would take for me to develop a female voice-? I've been trying to come up with animation ideas for my instagram and patreon, but since my biggest character is a girl, I need to come up with a good voice at a timely manner. 😅

    • @joanz4811

I've had people learn it in minutes, and others come a few weeks later with a decent voice. But the trick is deffo learning specific lines and breaking it down into vowels and sounds- like an accent.
Mimicing a siri voice worked for me.
Longform talking like I do in my Doki Doki series can take a bit longer- and even there, I have a few slipups- but I'm using it as an opportunity to practice and show people- it ain't gonna be perfect all the time, but keep trying and push through and take all the critique and suggestions you can get!
Experiment with saying words differently, put on an accent- record yourself and listen back to it.
      Good luck! :)

@@joanz4811 Your advice is very much appreciated! 😁🙏 I'll do my best! My voice has been such a bassy mess when I try, but I'm definitely gonna have so much fun trying it out!
