I'm looking into getting the newer Scanmaster G. I'm still very new to all this, I've done minimal work to my 86GN. I'm wondering if there is a chart that shows the ranges of what is safe for each reading, and a possible remedy, or guide to show what could be causing the issue? I'm assuming the Scanmaster does not come with a chart like that? Thanks for the help, and great video! I'll be watching them all.
Denso 02 sensors #234-1000 are $20.29 at Advance AutoParts. Use a 0.125" blade spade connector to pin "E". like he mentioned, "left side of ALDL port, second one in."
My 95 LT1 has one installed, it the numbers just go crazy like it’s not working. Any reason to install one on a stock motor? The shop I got the car from closed down and the person they bought it from didn’t included what might be installed on the motor.
My blm is at 128-129 but when I excel it drops down is this normal,car seems to be running fine, but was just wondering? Great informative video thanks
This is the original 2.1 version of Scanmaster I have. I'm betting you have the 2.2 version. Let me do some digging as to what it displays. Turn the ignition key to the on position...but don't start the car. What does the display on the Scanmaster say? 2.1 or 2.2?
AF=Air Flow (MAF reading)

Your Welcome
Good write up Larry...thank you. I got pissed off with the spade connector popping out...so I hard wired it in the rear of the ALDL port last summer.
