I have been using this recipe for over 20 years. I found it in an old cookbook that had blue ribbon fair recipes in it. I make this still but I use cold butter instead. ❤tip- you should always chill the dough for at least an hour before you use it.
Your Grandma taught you well. Pat yourself on your back for a well deserved job. There are many people who can't make pie crust especially a pretty crust. I like your push effect on the edge of your pie crust. Thanks and I got a peek of your sweet baby.
Hello again Crystal, good to see you again my friend. That pie crust recipe looks great. Thanks grand ma. and thanks to you also for sharing your story with us that are your fans. Outstanding job young lady. Well done.
Thanks you could probably use butter instead. Yes it has been fun trying to get back in the swing of things I think I have uploaded 5 videos now since being back. All cooking they work for me right now and I do really enjoy it! Thanks for checking this video out!
Why Vinegar? Vinegar is an acid, normally paired with baking soda (which requires an acid to activate). I assume an apple cider vinegar could be used instead of white vinegar Also, chill water, flour and bowl for about 15-30 minutes. Best to use ice water
Thanks you made it so easy
Thank you

I am sure that vegitable shortning will do as well.
Use lard instead . That’s what I use for over 30 years, works well.
👌👍
You did not advise as to what temperature you bake your crust at and how long?

My grandma always used white vinger, and that's what I have using for decades.
Egg + vinegar + water = sort of mayonnaise?
You keep adding more and more flour. . .roll dough between 2 sheets of parchment and you'll never add 'more and more' flour. . .just saying.
I'm gonna need dough,a lot of dough
A great recipe, I think it was rolled out too thin.
No crisco for me. Not good for ur health.
