Thanks for the review lads was eagerly awaiting this one huge honda fan but the current generation kinda bummed me out keen as hell for this 25 model to drop
Tires are a preference I live in SoCal and prefer Pirelli’s. Don’t believe I’m giving anthing away in the tire department. I see AMA pros where everyone is sponsored to run Dunlops and MXGP a lot of guys sponsored to run Pirelli. More popular in different regions. I’m not a pro level rider so perhaps the difference in the tire at my speed isn’t a big deal so maybe you’re right but I’m leaning towards disagreeing with you there.
I am choosing literally right now. Should i get the base model, or works edition?? I am going to put a deposit down on either tomorrow, I just dont want to look like an absolute sweat, but maybe it's worth going with the works edition? I'm not sure. I would love people opinion!
Do you consider yourself a professional rider? I don't think most of us mortals can benefit from a boost to performance, specially one that cost USD 2k from the get go. But you do you... Congrats by the way enjoy your riding
Feels like Honda are just constantly guessing ever since 2009. They should know through engineering process what design has what effect, not randomly welding on more or less metal to see how it feels. I think they lost most of their good engineers after the GFC.
The Lawrence brothers had a big part in helping engineer this bike. A lot of pros say it feels much better an is easier to balance when riding. I’d say they made some good improvements.
That this 2025 HONDA may “still be the lightest in its class” is yet to be seen, as it gained 5 pounds. Pretty friggin’ bad that all current MX 4T-pigs keep on getting heavier, especially, them 250s…🤦🏻♂
@@cw3728 LOL! Nope. That has to do with frame geometry and rigidity or flexing. Weight is never good, especially, on a 250. You can read about this which is what Pros and test riders say….
@paulgordon8313 Dude, give it up! HONDA will never, ever build a two-stroke, again. Rumor has it even Known To Malfunction (KTM) may discontinue their 2T bikes for 2026. I love two strokes and own two new YAMAHAs (125 and 250), but we gotta let it go already, man…
Honda needs to bring back a 2 stroke bike!
Oh yeah for sure!
Purtroppo non ne faranno più 😢già ktm dal 2026 non ne fa più 😢
Honda should bring back 2 stroke range, CR65r, CR85r, CR125r, CR250r and all new CR200rx, CR300rx 2 stroke cross country/enduro models
Grinders & welders can make it happen
@@walterdemo2895 if I had the power to weld, some money, and one more braincell I’d put an LS on a tricycle
Fave 2025 video, great work!
Thank You!

Thanks for checking it out!
Not many things out there are as dialed as a motorcrosser…relentless improvement over the years, all the modern bikes are amazing
Nice lookin bike Im sure its an amazing ride

As a rear steering rider there’s just no way I would go with the Honda.

What did you end up getting?
@@jrgallegos6718 I got the base model 2025 250R. Such a sick bike so stoked with it!
What gas are you running in it. That could make a difference.
I don't know how anyone can get the feeling it doesn't feel like a retro 90s CR vibe
Because their getting lighter and slimer I think

Very curious how my CRF125RB 2T would stack up against this bike
Lol
❤❤❤❤
Crazy to think some electric bikes are more powerful and may take over one day😢
The repetitive background music is annoying. No reason to have it.

Maybe it was too light and thats why it had a nervous feel

Best looking bike in the game… and I’m a KTM fan

Thank you someone said it, it’s not the 90s get the fuck over it
