Hey, I have all of them! I already had a Mini 3, and a Mini 4 Pro, a month ago added the Avata 2 Fly More kit! Enjoying them all. Was going to initially fly the Mini 4 with the goggles apprehensive about the goggles/controller setup. Ended up flying Avata in garage for a week, then went outside. 14+ flights with Avata is so awesome. Now want to try the Mini 4 primarily because of the obstacle avoidance like you just talked about. Can’t wait, and your video is still playing while you fly! Thanks for the great posts!
This is terrific! While not performance that might satisfy the Manual-mode FPV flyer, Its still pretty fun, IMO. A great tool for more leisurely, or cinematic flights and a GREAT trainer!
Great video! How close of an Avata experience can you get with this? I currently have the Mini 3 Pro & thinking of upgrading to the 4 Pro. If you can have a similar experience using propeller guards it would be a much more affordable option. Thoughts?
COOL! So I just need to buy an Avata 2 drone with all the batteries, etc. AND a mini 4 Pro with all of its batteries, etc. That should only be about 3.5 thousand dollars or so.
Guessing you still have to change that camera FPV setting on the Mini 4 Pro to FPV in order for it to look like that don't you? Or does just using the Goggle 3 and the Motion Controller 3 make it fly in that way? Cheers.
@@MK-Creator Ah okay thanks. Was thinking that the camera would still self right itself if the setting wasn't changed. Did you try with the FPV camera setting turned on at all? Just wondering if that would make it even more FPV like? Cheers!
@MarkBowenPiano there is no such setting in the menu you get when the drone is connected to the goggles. The setting is depending on the controller it’s connected to.
So glad I saw this- was debating between those two drones and ended up with the mini pro 4. Just need to grab goggles but i will wait for any cyber monday deals. Wonder if prop guards would help at all.
I have Avata 2 and Mini 4 Pro. When I wanna use my goggles 3 with either drone, do I have to re-pair every time please? Or is it like the motion 3 and RC3 and just does this seamlessly when one is turned on?
So what about just buying the hand controller and viewing the flight path on the regular RC controller. That would save buying the Goggles? Is this possible?
Hey man what's up!!! I need your help 🙏. I pressed the button "Format SD card" and then i pressed "confirm". Then i see, i don't have any videos in my dji gallery. Does it mean that my videos deleted forever? 😢
Anyone have any idea how I could buy a drone? For two years I have been in debt that determines my life, and for the next two years it will not change. Photography and small travels are the only things I have left...
If you are in the US, I would say try Acima Leasing, you can lease a drone or any other device in Best Buy until you own it. Basically make a down payment ($50) and make bi weekly payments. I highly advise against this if you cannot allow it, and also be mindful that you would need to pay everything in 90 days to avoid those horrendous fees, example if a drone cost $1200, after 90 days you will end up paying $3000
I'm going to be that guy: You're in crippling debt. *Stop buying stuff that is not absolutely essential.* Seriously. If that means putting your hobbies on hold for a few years - do it. Find ones that don't cost (as much) money until you're up and going again. I know reading this will sound like I'm the biggest a-hole, but it's more that I've seen people make their issues so much worse by doing stuff like this...
As an FPV pilot I can say the outcome is very poor... The image looks a bit shaky for what you are paying for. Anyways, thank you for sharing the results

No, you don’t change any setting to FPV 🥳 the goggles does the trick.

@@MK-Creator Ah good point yes! That's great that it flies in that way with the Goggles then.
Does the head tracking work as in the avata?

Do you have to use the motion controller or could you use the RC2 controller to fly the Mini 4 while using the goggles at the same time?
Ok, I found your other video with the answer. Tack för det!
@GregerBurman 🤩👍🏼
Great, enthusiastic video!!
😃👍🏼
One question; It should be possible to fly in FPV mode even with the RC2? Or not?
It is possible even with RC-N2. And footage is more stable
@@jakobergson Thank you. I will definitely try this out 🙂
@@FinntheNorwegian-rm2vk you need Goggles 3

Hey. Yes they are very much gone. There are some third party software to try to bring them back…
@@MK-Creator Can you tell me what kind of softwares exist?
Recuva
great

Absolutely. I agree with you. The intention was more to show what’s possible and what you get.
Okay boomer
Nice video again! Remember, when flying with goggles, you always need an observer!
never fly on your own when using goggles :L
