I can't count the number of times people self destruct on Meteoragon.. Meteoragon does have pretty unique effects though and you can boost him to 4,000+ ATK. Not only does he immediately negate monsters when an attack is declared (on either turn), he also negates those effects and any monster with the same name for the entire turn.. If people have a lot of monsters that change their name they can also be negated for the whole turn.. The fact you can search him for free with War Rock Mountain or a level 4 is also amazing.
Loving this new box, so many fun decks. And while War Rocks may not be meta shifting I love how it drives home the #1 rule of Yugioh: Read the opponents’ cards *or else* lol
Another mechanic people underestimate is war rock spirit with orpis, discard a meteordragon and isntantly summon it in def and no one can kill you for the rest of the turn anyways. I run beatdown so I usually pair it with another meteordragon or mammud, +900 att boost is nice.

WarRock kinda cheap to build, it's a good price to performance cards. I pair it with Joey "My warrior buddies" skill to free boost 200 atk.
Can you recommend budget alternatives instead of MsT and rank 4* budget xyz monsters?
I tried this deck with Joey dsod and it works really well bcz of Joey's skill warrior buddies
