@@PositivelyPessimistic42 I like both versions, don't have one over the other, just personally think that in cases like this, where the live version is different from the studio it's always better to hear the original first and after dive into the new version, to have a comparison. I don't really have a problem either way, just felt like sharing my thoughts.
Tool doesn’t move around the stage much when performing live. When asked why, they stated “because we’re too busy counting”😂 In regard to the “fan incident”, Maynard is a long time practitioner of martial arts. 🌀
Generally my standing rule. Only band for me that breaks this rule is Kiss. Their studio albums sound dead and lifeless. They bring a whole different heat (and crowd vibes 🙂) to live recordings.
That was awsome man, glad you picked up on the weird vocallizing like "Put shit". In the studio version i think he does another line sounds like "spit" This version is a treat, i think the intro is just mesmerizing, drums alot more tribal like of a 10K days vibe
Agree on the haunting and soothing you used to describe Tool . Imo i describe and trancing like and tribal like or perhaps primal is closer to what i mean.🌹🔥🔥🔥🔥
The reason you heard the the "put shit on me" better in the second video is because they were doing the original version live, vs the salival version which was reimagined.
There’s a video of them performing this song but the audio is terrible. I highly recommend reacting to the Third Eye Salival video. You’ll be blown away by that one and you’ll get to see what they’re all up to. Maynard is from another planet.
Boy, if you want to go down a strange, primitive and powerful path, I strongly suggest you listen to Heilung- Norupo, Anoana, or just about anything they do. Old Nordic rebirthed into ...I don't even know how to describe it, but the vibe gets deep down into ya.
Just listened to Heilung... And the pot cookie kicked in. Now my face is painted and I'm wearing clothing I fashioned out of elk hide settin Personal bests on weighted chinups
salival tracks were my intro 2 Tool. No regrets man. This fellow has years to re listen the entire discography. It's not the order u start with that matters as much as when you removed listen you catch onto new things and how the songs connect
They come into sync i think because on every 3of 4 counts and every 4 of 3counts land at 12 lol marh n music babay 😆 man i am so missing the lives. Since ive broken my last phone recently i havent uploadedthe Twitch acct to see if you still do them there butjust missing the music jiy with AR just sayin lol 🤘🔥🔥keep it rocking Anthony always
im proud of myself i only said a couple gay comments that made it in this video!! lol Tool will straighten anyone out!! Bad ass song, bad ass performance and a bad ass reaction video for sure!
Probably one of the best performances ever recorded, one of Maynard’s best vocal performances
Tool live is a spiritual experience. Four of the greatest minds in music and we get to share the planet with them. I love that for us.
It's a great performance, but I think it makes a lot more sense when you listen to the original first. Just my personal opinion.
But this version is so much better. Especially when you’re under the influence! 🎉

I agree about listening to the studio version 1st, with any band and not just Tool@@pedromarques2077

Didn’t he just get his BJJ black belt?

At a certain point counting becomes counter productive, these type of songs are easier played when felt. Muscle memory and all that.
Definitely have to hear pushit original version.
Great song, but I would love to see you do the album version first. Makes this really standout.
I agree with you on studio versions 1st
@davidward9737 Thanks David. I agree with you agreeing with me.

It's Danny's Tabla teacher Aloke Dutta playing the tablas in this one
legendary performance

That breakdown is a duet among Danny and his Tabla tutor, Aloke Dutta
That is the audio engineers clapping for themselves...they did a great job at putting together several live performances.
Goosebumps every single time! 🤯
I always felt this was during their transition into the lateralus style distancing from their earlier sound

When I was young, this original song was my favorite on the album & 😢they did this 👏 😢

Cool version but he should've had you do the album version first! Surprised with him being such a big tool fan, he didn't know better lol
You should do it for the live video for the original Pushit
'Push-Sh!t' on me and 'Push-it' on me
Great reaction on the live stream. I had to watch it again. Thanks again for reacting to the fan incident at the end as well.

To be fair! That dude had the show of hisl ife! 💌🔧
I have repeatedly said it and stand by the statement ...I would risk jail to be this fan and have Maynard sing in my ear.
This comment is goated
Saw them play this version live in Atlanta in 2001.
Hell yeah finally a waaay better explanation than I could give lol I suck at the clarity of it but yes awesome sauce lol. Glad to see
See lol poly is what I was speaking on😊
Considering how "fans" have often killed folks they supposedly love. . . Take no chances.
R.I.P. Dime Bag and Mayhem (as an example of "Fan")
I haven't seen this on your channel
Alice In Chains - Live At the Moore
Especially Love Hate Love
I have seen many bands live. Tool, is the best I have seen live. With a few exceptions :)

Can't love Tool enough❤ live they are the best❤ Maynard don't play lol
Love your reactions! Tool is definitely bad that will grow in its influence as people realize their unique genius.
The show must go on!!!😂
Maynard just got his black belt in jujitsu
did you react to The Grudge yet? epic wail towards the end
Maynard was in the U.S. Army, and he is a brown belt in Ju Jitsu. Definitely not someone to take lightly.
Maynard is legit trained in MMA
Maynard has another band A Perfect Circle. The songs Judith and 3 Libras are awesome and you should do reactions!
Russ might of robbed you of this track, as I feel that listening to the original track helps make this track even more special 😊🤘🏻🌀

maybe you"ll like the song "H" live in New York 2002
This version is great, but the original is beyond the best.
Fan fked around and got hip tossed. MJK Brazilian Jujitsu blackbelt
Now, do the original Aenima version and compare the two.
Also try the Salival Live version of 3rd Eye video. Best performance video on the internet.
Dude, play You Lied from the same album Salival. I guarantee you will think it is a total banger.🌀🤘
Look up live Pushit
React to the cover of running up that hill by social repose
Zombie cover by social repose please
It was not staged. :)
