From my perspective and from all the other videos I've watched, its looks like sand is the biggest pain in the ass to unload.
'Health and Safety board have declared workers will not be permitted to wear boots that are not rated safety boots with a steel toe cap, impact and puncture resistance, and oil resistant sole'....
Well technically this guys 'footwear' conforms to the rule - he is not wearing non steel toe capped boots!

i am curious, why do they use water? isn't it make sticky, more weight and difficult to move? I mean not all cargo is suited for water? it is different thing to clean the pit after unloading with water. any experienced people know?

I dont think the water really helps with unloading, it seems to just make mud and clump everything together.
I think so too. Either suspend the sand in water like in a pumping barge or leave the water out completely.
That guy on the right is painful to watch. He thinks the water helps but it makes everything worse. Best to keep all the sand dry and flowing naturally.

I don’t understand why they create a “cave” and risk the sides falling in on them.
Men are cheap and replaceable but diesel is expensive and comes out of the companys profits.
If you cane save on expensive diesel by stacking goods more densely and all you risk is losing a few relatively cheap men, its a no brainer.
