I really liked the first bla interfacr 2x2.. Does the sound of the main output and headphone out improved in this 6x6 model? What's the difference?

Hey there, unfortunately that configuration won't work as you're essentially connecting a USB interface (the mic technically counts) to another USB interface (The 6x6.) It's just not designed to work that way.

not an audio engineer just a hobbyist guitar player.. what live playing / streaming feature are they showing there? seems like might be cool if I can live stream guitar playing / singing better than my current 2x2 does..

Yes indeed! The USB OTG connection is specifically for mobile devices. You can even connect it to your computer and phone at the same time using both USB ports.

You can connect your iPad over the USB OTG port and connect your computer to the computer USB port - both at the same time, and send audio to and from both.

no you do not, Krause is not the authority ppl seems to think he is, he was reviewing cameras before audio interfaces lol and he doesnt show any concrete studio use when doing his reviews it is only robotic datas spec sheets with not the slight idea on how to make music with great sounding converters. Trust sound engineers not some random youtubers who look and sound nerdy but never mixed any albums... I absolutely can not trust this dude. Since when for example a butcher will be a bakery specialist ?

Does this support direct monitoring for the SPDIF input or only the analog inputs?

When using the 6x6 in interface mode only the analog inputs can be direct monitored, but if you switch the unit over to Standalone mode then all inputs including the S/PDIF inputs can be directly monitored from the unit.

Yes, quality clocking ensures that all of your digital gear's sampling rates are precisely in sync with one another. It's particularly noticeable in the high-end of your sounds and in reverb tails.

What makes black lions clocking superior? Not to sound ignorant but isn’t word clocking syncing the same from one piece to another. Such as focusrite, Audient, UA….?
