    Wonderful build, good sir. Thanks to Leif from Devs&Dice, who introduced you to me. Is it just my own view, but this reminds me somehow to the Way shrines of TES:IV - Oblivion... Good old memories! 😊

    • @DiceChatter
      @DiceChatter  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh yes, Leif is an awesome guy!
      And my inspiration was exactly the "wayshrines" in oblivion. Was playing the game the other day and thought it would make a neat build!

    • @dermabsel7545
      @dermabsel7545 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awesome... The game itself have some big issues but I must admit, that I like the look of it much more than Skyrim. It starts with simple things, for example the font. And the Main Quest and even the Side Quests are way more like from a good DM... And last but not least, Sir Patrick Stewart as Emperor Uriel Septim - absolutely brilliant. If you like the game, there is a Playlist out there on TH-cam with small scenes from the real game, which always cracks me up. It's too funny..... Playlist is called „Oblivion - You laugh, you loose“

    • @DiceChatter

      I secretly steal ideas from Oblivion for DMing my DnD games... Don't tell my players.

    Another great terrain project, love it! ☺️👍 I think I'd like to make this using ready made cylinders perhaps cardboard or plastic, any tips on how to add texture to them? Many thanks. ❤

    • @DiceChatter
      @DiceChatter  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm off the top of my head, I could see using a texture paste or possibly drywall compound to give you some texture. Don’t know if that would work or look great… But can’t hurt to give it a try!

      Yes, or a well ventilated area.

  • @docpepperclassic
    @docpepperclassic ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Man, I hate Proxxon-only builds. Why expect your viewers to spend $150-$200 to follow along with your tutorials? Especially since, for the same price, they could just buy a 3d printer?

    • @dermabsel7545
      @dermabsel7545 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Maybe because it's also fun to build things by your own. I find both ways nice... And the can also fit together really sweet. I just build a well with Balsa, Styrodur and some other things. But the 3D-printed bird on the well, make it pops out.

    • @DiceChatter
      @DiceChatter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We all hobby in different ways. Doesn't mean one is wrong over the other. Though I appreciate your perspective, and understand where you are coming from.

    • @Pugggle
      @Pugggle 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He probably doesn't EXPECT viewers to do anything , but for those of us who enjoy making things rather than simply 3d printing, these videos are good ideas.
