Ghost proudly bleeds its influences. This feels like Black Sabbath meets Slayer. The song Kaisarion off the new album is one of my favorites, feeling like a bunch of 80s influences including prog rock bands but still with that Ghost hooky sound. It's not a song I imagined they'd ever write. It makes me wonder if we'll ever hear Ghost tackle thrash or even grunge.
