Definitely useful information! I have done about 3,200 watts on a Bafang G62 (which is the motor Ariel Rider uses), and it's a bit much for a light bike like a RadMini. It's literally flipped over a couple times due to the excessive torque, but I like keeping up with Sur Rons on paved trails. I still use a Phaserunner, but the programming is apparently quite different from yours.
You have to test it for longer than that, 100 miles is baby steps compared to the 25k miles i have on my RX. I'd have to know what the reliability is long term.
Is it possible to connect a display while using this controller? If anything do you have a link to check voltage?

What’s up Julienne?! This is the set up I’m definitely going to use. I almost purchased the 5kw 72v kit with battery enclosure. I don’t think I need to go over 50mph. I looked at your links and I don’t see the 72v 40ah battery on your Amazon list.
yeah it seems they took it out of amazon but I still see some on ebay upp 72v 40ah
also if you get the 72v 25ah upp it would fit in a super73 KJ bag frame but not the 40ah

This is definitely useful. Unfortunately not too much for me with my Bafang G60 750 watt. Probably has a 1000watt peak 1200 tops. I'm wondering if I could get a bit more oomph out of a 35a controller sold by Risun Motor vs my stock 25a with my 48v 21ah setup? I'm getting 33 mph on that heavy Mad Mod now. What say yee? 😃
The G60 will handle 1600 watts, but if you go above 1800, the magnet glue will melt and you'll get a strange noise about 28mph as the magnets touch the stator plates. You can reglue using a high temperature structural adhesive like Permabond TA4590, but it's a lot of work. Same problem for the Bafang G2, but once done, you can go over 3000 watts.
@@Altema22 Thanks bro I never cared about warranties anyways. Now I'm regretting spending two fiddy on a new display from Sondors because of a broken pin on the plug in for the controller. I could have got that 35a for 139.00 with a color display. I'm ordering it now anyway.

Pretty sure those are nylon gears in the hub motor. Lets see if it makes it 1500 miles.
I currently have 6000+ miles on my oem super73 motor. Definitely will make it over 1500miles
