Wait I lost the part how you powered on your display? So all you need is the white wire connected to stock controller? Is the display connected to the stock controller or new controller? What is powering on your display? I don't see the stock controller plugged into any battery.

This seems pretty straight forward. I have 630 miles on my DRT and I really want to give it some more power and speed. Would there be ANY benefit in JUST upgrading the controller to that 60v-72v controller or do you also need the battery? Does seem like the cheapest option to upgrade it.

That funny ...no one on super 73 wants to jump it ...even though they advertise it jumping .....we all know why ...because that bike will pancake ...

that fall dident look bad at all from angle your at ..most never reacted they thought it was easy tumble .....not till moved over to edge and then you can see it quite big drop and nasty looking drop ....he done well come out ok from that ......others slow reaction was illusion that was it just couple inch ...

Love your spark bafang emtb. Even with owning 72v hub drive ebikes that go over 50+ mph. My favorite is still the BBSHD mid drive emtb.

Is it possible to add a 24v battery to a 48v battery and get 72v? I thought I saw a device that does just that.

it's usually not the volts that will kill the little hub motor. it might cause slight efficiency loss but if you ran like 100 amps through it it would die pretty fast haha.

Get the official ride1up cage and get the biggest battery from amorge that'll fit in there. Mrcentraldriver put a 72v battery in no problem, on his original Revv1 upgrade video

Are you using the stock controller too? How big is the risk of blowing out the motor running it that way?

Damn again that is so sick! Wish you would do this on the DRT but I hear you on it being to tall for you. If I was not super comfortable on a bike I would not want to go super fast let alone spend the money to mod it out! But knowing the FS and DRT have pretty much all the same components I am totally going to do this on mine!

As someone who is 6'4 and 230lbs the DRT is the only way to go. The FS feels like a childs toy under me. Because of your videos i am for sure going to get that 72v controller and upgrade mine. If i did get the one you linked on Amazon would i still be able to use my 52v batteries?

This is exactly what i want to do with my revv1. I want to pair with a 72v battery. I believe the motor will be ok just cant full throttle it for a long time. If you had a slightly higher amp controller it could reach speeds over 40mph. It would make a great sleeper bike.

if you want a lighter feeling get a smaller battery, you pedal alot anyway, the main advantage of bbshd is that its built like a tank and will last you decades whereas the bbs02 probably already failed on you by now.

It would be quieter if you had a sinwave controller. The controller you are using is squarewave.
