    No pronunciation corrections from me. I'd have no clue!
    I never played Megumi Rescue, but I've played a lot of games like it on old IBM business machines & MSDOS 😀
    @3:54 this game was made in Japan?!? Not in like some racist corner of the States? ...because... um... it looks super racist O_o lol
    I love the animated faces for the planets in Galactic Protector! Very cute.
    I've played the Alex Kidd BMX as an adult. I feel like it must be in a Steam-pack of Sega games, but maybe it was on emulation.
    What an interesting set of games! I love lists like this, because each game will be so niche that I'm unlikely to know hardly any of them. Such a cool list! Thanks for showcasing these, Tiger!

      LOL I’m sure I slaughtered the titles haha. Megumi Rescue reminds me of alleyway just disguised. It looks very addicting! Hahaha about those character designs in Bakabon… I purposely put that Black Cat sprite in the thumbnail because it’s from that game and I was like ughhhh wtf 🤣 but at least the Japanese (I don’t believe) were trying to be offensive with their designs. Galactic Protector could very well be a hidden gem in my book. That’s so cool you got your hands on Alex Kidd BMX Trial!! Thanks for watching as always. Such a pleasure to read your thoughts on the videos.

    Interesting list of games here. Honestly, the first game shown in the list was the one that seemed the most fun to me, or at least one I’d try out lol. Always awesome to see what games we never received in the US. Great video as always, TC!

    • @TigerChainsawVideoGames
      @TigerChainsawVideoGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      The first game looks great, like a classic arcade game. There’s some ones that I think would be fun to try and I’m glad there are English translations now. Thanks for watching!

  • @DanofWar101

    Nice list! It always surprises me how many games we've missed on because they were never localized! That 1st game looks awesome! And I'm sure it would have been a popular one in the NTSC market! And I don't know what it is, but I've always enjoyed 8bit sports games like Baseball Stars, Base Wars, Tag Team Wrestling, etc... maybe because of the simpler gameplay? Great video and keep up the good work!

    • @TigerChainsawVideoGames
      @TigerChainsawVideoGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      I know, I was bummed to see that most of these games look really fun! Some of the text games have English translations now so I hope to play them sometime. I had to look up what NTSC meant but now I know a new term! Cool. 8bit baseball games are great, especially on the Master System. Great Baseball and Reggie Jackson Baseball are both excellent titles. Base Wars was really fun! Lame Dad and I tried it out when I was at his place. Thanks for watching buddy!

    what is the CRT used in the intro's model number?

    • @TigerChainsawVideoGames
      @TigerChainsawVideoGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      Fun fact about the intro… I took stock footage of that tv and then used a mask effect to put those games on the TV. I was quite proud of how it turned out because it looks fairly real, but the CRTV is just stock! So I’m not sure what brand it is. Thanks for watching though.

    i used to have the last game, comical machine gun joe as a pal game on cartridge. I wish I still had it.. It was some kind of selfmade/homebrew thing. Cool arcady game

    • @TigerChainsawVideoGames
      @TigerChainsawVideoGames  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is awesome, I wish I had a copy of that on cartridge. The homebrew community for the Master System has been growing lately. It's fun to see all the games releasing for it both digitally and physically. Thanks for watching!

    Big fan of the Sukeban Deka series. Would love to be able to play that game. Of course the TV series never came out over here either. Oh well.

    • @TigerChainsawVideoGames
      @TigerChainsawVideoGames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That game out of all of them looks to be the one I’d enjoy the most. I love the beat ‘em up gameplay and that’s a cool yoyo weapon. The bosses and enemies look solid too. That’s super cool you’ve heard of the series before and have watched the series. Is it any good? PS: Thanks for watching!

    • @ColdSteelKid
      @ColdSteelKid ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TigerChainsawVideoGames It is a strange path to become a fan of Sukeban Deka. There was movie released over here called Yo-Yo Girl Cop in 2006 which I got for the pure strangeness of it. Loved it. Found out there had been a TV series and a couple of TV tie-in films in the 1980s. I was able to get a hold of dvds of the TV tie-in films. At that point I had to hunt down fansubs of the TV series. I find them a lot of fun. Kinda silly but trying to be serious. Each season of the TV show had a different actress playing a different character who takes on the title of Sukeban Deka and is given a yo-yo to fight crime with. Each season is a standalone arc and can be watched independently of the others. There is also a two episode anime that you might be able to track down. Someday I will have to track down fan translations of the manga.
