A pallet load of smurfs 2 games were then found in Italy around 2001/02 by one guy who bought them and he now sells them to collectors at £400 each on eBay.

My first console too! I love the sleek design of it and the black and red color palette. Nostalgia is probably my favorite thing in the world and the SMS screen always floods my brain with it. I want to try out Asterix.

Great list of Master System games! I used to read Asterix comics books when I was younger so this always brings back old memories. There used to be pear Asterix lemonade in the old days.

I absolutely like the Aladdin game for SMS and it goes down as one of the best Aladding games for me. Along side with the Mega Drive/Genesis and the SNES versions

Mortal Kombat II looks soooooo choppy on the SMS 🤣! The Smurfs looks great visually! I find it fascinating that the console lasted for almost a decade officially (outside of support in Brazil). The Incredible Hulk looks very close to the Genesis/SNES version, which is impressive. Awesome video as always man!
Yeah they were really pushing it with Mortal Kombat II haha, but as someone commented on Twitter, it was pretty cool back then if that's all you had as a kid. The smurfs looks pretty solid with both games, and I agree that the Incredible Hulk looks fun. I wasn't aware of it until creating these SMS videos. I think Asterix looks to be a lot of fun. The Aladdin game having Prince of Persia-style levels is such a fitting thing. Never knew The Incredible Hulk game was on the Master System, it looks remarkably similar to the 16 bit version! I would love to try some of these games.

1996?!? Whoa, I had no idea it lasted that long! Aladdin was the first movie I saw in the theater, and it blew my mind! (my rich friend took me with him, which was why I got to go). I played the DOS game, but never the Master System one. I'm surprised Dr Robotnik could do an arcade that late in the 90s. Seems like everything had switched to story arcs by then. Whoa! I had no idea MK2 was on the Master System. That's an ambitious port! I never knew about Sonic Spinball either! Very cool! Smurfs II looks really polished. Always nice to see the zenith game on a system 😀
Aladdin was such an incredible movie, I remember my family renting it. My first movie that I saw in theaters was The Lion King, I was like 4 maybe? I love that you played the DOS! I have found memories of that too. MK2 was ambitious for sure.... didn't run the best haha but still gave SMS gamers an option. There were some very solid Sonic games for the SMS. Sonic 1 and 2 are very good and are different from their Genesis brothers. Thanks for watching buddy!

Nice list! Aladdin looks like a ripoff of the OG Prince of Persia on PC but with better graphics! Mortal Kombat 2 looks rough! All the other games look great and look like a fun time! It's great when companies offer games on various systems. I always appreciate it when a video game is released on older gen consoles as well as new just in case I don't have the newest console yet. I know back in the day, the older versions were usually much different so it was almost like you got two different games!

I have them all except for Autour du monde, as it was never released in The Netherlands. I would say Sonic Spinball is the best out of these. None of these games are particularly cheap nowadays.

Yeah there was thought to be only some copies known to exist so good extra copies were found.

The only way to play master system is with a Sega Genesis controller and the pause on the controller actually works.
That was quite a strange design feature to have the pause button on the console. I agree, using a controller that pauses is much better!
So many demakes from Genesis games but now you can take them on the go.
Sega taking care of you regardless of the system you had.
