- In this video, I'm reviewing the world's BEST Keyboard. That's right, the SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini is the fast gaming keyboard on the planet. With it's Omnipoint 2.0 switches, customizable LEDs and crisp keycaps, it is DEFINITELY worth the 199€ on Amazon. The Apex Pro Mini is also used for a lot of stuff, other than typing. It's the BEST for gaming, programming, writing emails and more! For late-night gaming sessions, it's not too good. The switches resamble the famous blue switches. The omnipoint switches aren't that bad, but still, not quiet. Fun fact: the instructions are VERY MUCH worth reading, since without it we would be lost. For example, the keycap puller is in the keyboard. No seriously, it is. So make sure to READ IT!!!

yo dani, i made a new account, amazing video as always, sound check is more than approved :D
i went to check to see how many subs you had thinking it would be over 100k but no only 121 so you deserve more subs
Haha, thank you! :D
underrated
i have had this keyboard for a little while now and i never knew there was a keycap puller under the keyboard.
Well, now you know! :D
New sub
Thank you! :D
Wooting wipes
It is a very strong competitor! I have other SteelSeries products, so I prefered to get this one over the Wooting
love the minecraft edits bro
Glad you like them, trying to put in little twists every video :D
@@DaniRGXX also do you recommend the apex pro mini or the apex pro tkl?
@@wyattsmith5422 Honestly, the difference isn't huge, even in price. Maybe the wrist rest on the TKL might be a better option. Mini is smaller tho, and is easily portable. In my opinion, you cant go wrong with either!
wooting > apex tho
Hq as always
Well, I'm trying my best! :D
I have that keyboard
Do you like it? :D
Ugggh 😩
Grown a*s man, thank you for the comment tho :D
Congratulations man! You just wasted your money on a very overpriced product instead of opting for a better choice!
Thank you very much for the comment! You see, I am perfectly fine with this keyboard and for it's price, it is more than perfect! I have researched a lot before buying, so that's that. If we are so politeful, may I ask YOUR opinion on what is the better option?
@@DaniRGXX You may be fine but there are clearly better and cheaper options in the keyboard community. And those keyboards can have these "gaming" switches too. The keyboard you bought is plastic, is tray mounted, has bad acoustics, has floatkey, has north facing leds, has bad quality keycaps and is very overpriced. Even the still kinda overpriced and not that good wooting is better than the apex.
@@Trambambula14 Actually reasonable argument. I don't want to be that guy that can't accept good reasons, tho floatkey is personal preference and easier to clean, keycaps aren't that bad and plastic.. Its fine, metal is quite heavy and I travel a lot so not good for me. Its also more expensive if its metal. I mean, compared to the "gaming" keyboards (e.g.: Pewdiepie or 100 Thieves), it is way waaay better. Sorry for the long reply, but imo for non-keyboard enthusiasts, this keyboard is perfectly fine.
@@DaniRGXX @DaniRGXX You don't have to be a keyboard enthusiast to have a good keeb. And I agree the pewdiepie and 100 thieves boards are also quite bad and overpriced. I know that metal keyboards can be quite heavy but some cheaper customs are made out of very high quality plastics (Better than those in apex). The keycaps in this keyboard may be "fine" but they are definitely not good. All I'm saying is that you could get something much better for much, much cheaper. And I don't understand having a full SS setup. I know that razer peripherals for example have some sort of connection but I don't thinks it's also the case with Steel, no?
@@Trambambula14 SS has an app where you can configure things and I do see connections, just like razer. I like variety so I dont have *full* SS setup, but I like the stuff they make. Custom keyboards never really interested me, maybe cuz it requires brain power to think about specs idk. Anyway, I think its still a good keyboard, but I agree, there are things that could be improved. It was nice learning some stuff from these comments so, thank you!
what are the differences between apex 9 mini and apex pro mini
Difference is mostly in the switches and keyboard layout.
The Apex 9 Mini has Optipoint switches, whole the Apex Pro Mini has Omnipoint 2.0 switches. Omnipoint switches are 'next-gen' and are built to be more durable and faster than Optipoint. There is of course a price difference too. On the SteelSeries website the prices are:
Apex 9 Mini: 129.99€
Apex Pro Mini: 199.99€
@@DaniRGXX Those switches are not "next gen" the main difference is that apex 9 is hot swap and has (I think) gateron switches that not as bad as those in other ss boards. But overall they both are overpriced and not worth the money.
