There was a point in my life when the statement "pain goes away" had no meaning to me.
Now it is the greatest motivation I have to exercise in rotational movements!
The Wildman is not pushing crapola, he is giving you the lowdown.
    For free.

I appreciate you always going over the basic position details. Every time. There is a pattern in all these different exercises.

Thanks so much. I just finished your 2 hand club program, and it was great. It completely fixed a nagging shoulder injury.
My shoulder now works better than it did before my injury, and I just set my personal best on shoulder press. It has even improved my overall posture. I will be doing club training for the rest of my life.

Thank you for the goal advice of 10 sets of 10 per arm. I'm making that my daily.

I’ve just started on your heavy club programme. Really enjoying it. I found your comment in this video about the outside circle being a deadlift position with rotation of hips a really helpful mental picture.

After watching all your video during the pendamic I took a break. I though to myself I get the idea and I should spend that time training like you recommend.
I guess I miss a few gold mine of information like this video. You really know how to tech this stuff. I made all the mistake you describe ;-).
    Thank you.

I've been doing these for the last year or so when i realized "wait, why not do pendulum mills rocking back and forth?" It's a fantastic movement pattern.

I like to combine this exercise with a short sprint at the end of every set.

Video on properly siting. Especially in a vehicle. I think that's where a lot of my problems started when I was driving all day

Thanks for breaking it down. I've been doing it very badly with a 4kg for sets of 50 and possibly training a bad movement pattern. Ill try practising step by step.

Definitely should not be in pain everyday. And as always, I appreciate the dance partner analogies because it is so true.

I pre-ordered the single-arm program the other day and looking forward to its release! I also recently came across your video on the drill for the back position swing to get your thumb touching the back of your shirt, which I have really struggled with. Have been doing one of your 2-handed heavy club training programs for about 10 months now. Incorporating the backswing drill now to try to get the ROM and proper movement on the backswing. Mark, how often should I do the backswing drill - reps/time/sets/times per week, and what percentage of weight from 2-handed working weight? Appreciate any feedback. Love all of your content!!

Is it possible to substitute mace work for club work in this training?

Hey, Mark. I think you would like this book The Gladiatory Art: The Lives, Writings, & Techniques of the Eighteenth Century Stage Gladiators. A Sourcebook.

The goal of 10 sets of 10; is that 5 left and 5 right for ten sets, or 10 reps with each hand?

  • @cioran1754
    @cioran1754 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    After the ten/ten for mill & r_mill & pend_mill & r_pend_mill...
You could then go time based alternating mills & pend_mills..
Is that where we going ?

Swing...pull...catch....(God I hope I don't hit my face with this thing)
Can you offer tips on how to avoid this or at least ease the anxiety.

Mark should be a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience. Get some UFC fighters to do club and mace training.

@andrewarmenta5240 I highly recommend the Wildman edition of the ADEX adjustable club. It's worth the money. You will have it the rest of your life.

I've been doing this for years now. I do it as a flow where I transition during the pendulum swing each repetition from one hand to the other in rhythm 🪘
