    On one of your next murals you should us the window as the light source because that would make it look like the sun is adding the shading

    thx for mentioning me. projector theme, yes that was crazy. tools are smart. i don’t know why people out there still hide that they are smart, to be more gangsta... the final result is everything I work for. thanks man - the girl has much better face. 👌🙏

      I think the projector its a good tool for a job when a client wants a specific result, but in the other hand if we talk about art skills the use of the projector for me in the most of cases shows insecurely and inability. But this is when you take care of the procces of creation and ablity, not final results.

    • @haxonatelier9698
      @haxonatelier9698 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's about using the right tool for the job. It makes much more sense to plan and draw your mural in a manageable size and then blow it up to fit the space perfectly. And I know I want to be in and out of a client's space as fast as possible. I can cut a day off muraling if I draw out the design in my studio and use a projector on the job site. Much faster than gridding it out.

    I hate artist who make arguments saying using a tool, or technique is cheating. The end result is all that matters, how you achieved the result is irrelevant.
    I have a tattoo artist budy, who refuses to use a grey wash technique for shading, because he believes that's cheating. His work suffers in my opinion because he doesn't.
    A greater result is preferable, to a greater amount of difficulty.
    If we were in a contest, then maybe perhaps its cheating. But my work has nothing to do with competing with you. The end result matters to me.

    • @hatakek6786
      @hatakek6786 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      "The end result is all that matters, how you achieved the result is irrelevant." well that is not true. of course it matters how you get there. i hate artist who make arguments like "only the end result matters." they are usually the type that cut corners and are too lazy to actually learn and get good.

    • @arsonality3797
      @arsonality3797 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      hatake k I mean they have a point though. The way you got to the result doesn’t matter as long as you’re learning. It’s bad to generalize people based on their ideas because that can hurt them and slow down their process of improvement. It’s honestly a shame to see what the art world has become, a place for people to argue about everything down to technique. It’s truly awful.

    I am kinda surprised that you kept using the golden fluid acrylics for the entire painting (well so far) and yet for a mural I guess it is not so unusual! Using a projector is not cheating ... You want to make sure that the design is perfect before you waste your canvas (or whatever medium you are using). I ALWAYS use some sort of projector in my art. I design my design out first, and then project it onto my canvas. It's still my artwork. I will never understand some people, I guess.
