Im working on the part with the elastic thread and im not sure what length stich to use? I used 3.5 but i feel like it doesnt look right. Is it supposed to actually stretch after or just look scrunched?

Shirring is tricky sometimes. I got some problems with it in the beginning (or even now with the new sewing machine). I think you should check the elastic thread you use as the under thread if it was put in the right way or not. Maybe it's too loose

I made 2 sleeves in the same way. Because the front and the back of the sleeve are the same. So no need to invert the pattern
