  • This was unexpected to say the least... Mark Driscoll gets kicked off stage in the middle of his message at the stronger men's conference after calling them out for hiring a male pole dancer to open the conference.
John Lindell, lead pastor of James River Church in Springfield, MO told him he's done and proceeded to criticize Mark's way of handling the situation citing Matthew 18.
In this video, I'll break down what happened and offer some lessons we can take away from the fiasco.

      1) As Paul did, someone should have commanded the evil spirit in that man who works as a male stripper to be delivered for him to be reborn and give his life to Jesus. We all missed what Bible in Acts 16:18 tells us, we all need to repent, too and pray to be more as what Jesus would do to see souls set free and come into the harvest forThe Kingdom of God. 2) Pastor John should not publicly expose other growing Christians to unclean spirits & give permission to satan to perform thru that man who works for a living stripping, to perform within a sanctuary of God, that Pastor John, he supposedly as he later stated being the father of the house authority of, he tempted others to sin, that the Bible warns us not to do too in Matthew 18:7... as woe to him!

As an 81 yr old (52 yr old believer in Christ), I’m getting fed up with this “circus type atmosphere” that seems to be so prevalent lately in venues like these. That’s not what the Gospel is all about! It’s about repentance, salvation, justification, redemption, a new creature in Christ, forgiveness, love, kindness, self control, etc ! I doubt that any of you really want to understand but I will explain it to you anyway .It is a Christian men's conference that has entertainment centered around the idea of strength and things that men like that are macho in nature. So there were many acts there that were circus-like or extreme in nature. I think in the past they've had tanks running over cars, people on motorcycles jumping ramps, etc. So this was a circus-like, trapeze artists-like.. an extreme sports kind of atmosphere. James River did not know of this guy's background. They hired a troupe to do a performance stunt. There was also a boxing match. Two more people had their shirts off ! oh my God ! Mark took a simple circus act and put a religious spin on something that did not exist. And now he's got all of your minds in that way of thinking that there was no intent involved. What's also amazing is that there were over 500 people saved at this event and this is all that anybody wants to focus on after someone went and dug into the dudes past. No wonder people are turned off to Christianity when Christians shoot each other in the backs and don't want to have an ounce of fun.

*GOD DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MOST CHURCHES ON EARTH BECAUSE THEY REJECT THE CONTINUANCE OF COMMANDMENTS FROM JESUS CHRIST IN 1 CORINTHIANS 11-14 TO KEEP ORDER AND TEST WHAT IS BEING SPEWED*
*1 TIMOTHY 5: 20 REBUKE THEM IN THE PRESENCE OF ALL SO THAT ALL TAKE NOTE AND BE ASHAMED!*
*TITUS **1:15**To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.*
*Romans 11:22 KJ21 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in His goodness. Otherwise, YOU TOO WILL BE CUT OFF*
*HEBREW 6 WARNING *4 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened-those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit,
5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come-
6 and who then turn away from God.*
      * It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance;* by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.
7When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing.
2 THESSALONANS 2:10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
*16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.*
HEBREWS 10: 26 IF WE DELIBERATELY (((WILLFULLY)))KEEP ON SINNING AFTER WE HAVE RECEIVED THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, NO SACRIFICE FOR SIN IS LEFT,*
*27 BUT ONLY A FEARFUL EXPECTATION OF JUDGMENT AND OF RAGING FIRE THAT WILL CONSUME THE ENEMIES OF GOD.*
28 ANYONE WHO **REJECTED* THE LAW OF MOSES DIED WITHOUT MERCY ON THE TESTIMONY OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES.
*GRACE IS A GIFT, AND IF WE ABUSE IT BY DELIBERATELY CONTINUING TO PRACTICE SIN, WE ARE DESTINED FOR ETERNITY IN HELL!
*29 HOW MUCH MORE SEVERELY DO YOU THINK SOMEONE DESERVES TO BE PUNISHED WHO HAS TRAMPLED THE SON OF GOD UNDERFOOT, WHO HAS TREATED AS AN UNHOLY THING THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT THAT SANCTIFIED THEM, AND WHO HAS INSULTED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?*
2 Corinthians *19 You gladly put up with fools since you are so wise!*
*20 In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or puts on airs or slaps you in the face.*
*21To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that*
3But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent.
4You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.
5 But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these “super apostles” who teach such things.
6I may be unskilled as a speaker, but I’m not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every possible way.
21 I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, DOING nothing with partiality.
LISTEN AND PERCEIVE...11Why? Because I don’t love you? God knows that I do.
12 But I will continue doing what I have always done. This will undercut those who are looking for an opportunity to boast that their work is just like ours.
13These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.
14But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
15So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.
16 Again I say, don’t think that I am a fool to talk like this.
*PLEASE WARN YOUR FLOCKS! WE MUST BE HONEST WITH OUR TESTAMENT AND INCLUDE THE VERSES THAT WE CAN LOSE OUR SALVATION! YOUR SPEAKING ABOUT HEBREWS, THIS IS HEBREWS 10:26 26 DEAR FRIENDS, IF WE DELIBERATELY CONTINUE SINNING AFTER WE HAVE RECEIVED KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, THERE IS NO LONGER ANY SACRIFICE THAT WILL COVER THESE SINS.
*1 JOHN 3 ELABORATES THE SAME THING. 6Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.*
7 Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous.
*8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.*
9Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.
*10 So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil.*
GALATIANS 1:*14 I PAUL, THANK GOD THAT I DID NOT BAPTISE NONE OF YOU,*
*GALATIANS 1:6I am ASTOUNDED AND SHOCKED that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News*
*7 but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ.*
*8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.*
*9 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.*
*1 CORINTHIANS 14:29 LET TWO OR THREE PROPHETS SPEAK, AND LET THE OTHERS PASS JUDGMENT.*
*30 BUT IF A REVELATION IS MADE TO ANOTHER (WHO IS SEATED), (THE FIRST ONE MUST KEEP SILENT.)
      *31 FOR YOU CAN (ALL) PROPHESY (ONE BY ONE), (SO THAT (ALL) (MAY LEARN) AND (ALL) (MAY BE EXHORTED);
*32 AND THE SPIRITS OF PROPHETS ARE (SUBJECT to PROPHETS;)
*33 FOR GOD IS NOT A GOD OF (CONFUSION) BUT OF PEACE, (AS IN ALL THE CHURCHES OF THE SAINTS.)*
*37 IF ANYONE CLAIMS THEY ARE A PROPHET, OR THINKS HE IS SPIRITUAL)), YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT WHAT I SPEAK TO YOU IS A COMMAND FROM THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.*
38*** AND IF ANYONE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THESE COMMANDS TO KEEP ORDER IN ALL THE CHURCHES, THEY WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED
38, AND IF ANYONE IGNORES THESE COMMANDS, THEY WILL BE IGNORED...
ITS INEVITABLE THAT THERE MUST BE LIARS/HERESEES AMONG MY PEOPLE , SO THAT THOSE WHO SPEAK TRUTH, WILL BE RECOGNIZED FOR IT.. I REBUKE EVERYONE TO GODS FULL CONTEXTUAL TRUTH...
*Speak two or three - On the same days, or at the same meeting; see the note at 1 Corinthians 14:27. BARNES BIBLE COMMENTARY ON THIS VERSE IS VERY CLEAR IN UNDERSTANDING THIS CHARGED COMMAND WE MUST ALL HAVE VIGILANCE TO ADHERE TO*
*And let the other judge - The word "other" (οἱ ἄλλοι hoi alloi, "the others"), Bloomfield supposes refers to the other prophets; and that the meaning is, that they should decide whether what was said was dictated by the Holy Spirit, or not. But the more probable sense, I think, is that which refers it to the rest of the congregation, and which supposes that they were to compare one doctrine with another, and deliberate on what was spoken, and determine whether it had evidence of being in accordance with the truth.
It may be that the apostle here refers to those who had the gift of discerning spirits, and that he meant to say that they were to determine by what spirit the prophets who spoke were actuated. It was possible that those who claimed to be prophets might ERROR, and it was the duty of all to examine whether that which was uttered was in accordance with truth.
AND IF THIS WAS A DUTY THEN, IT IS A DUTY NOW; IF IT WAS PROPER EVEN WHEN THE TEACHERS CLAIMED TO BE UNDER DIVINE INSPIRATION, IT IS MUCH MORE THE DUTY OF THE PEOPLE NOW.
NO MINISTER OF RELIGION HAS A RIGHT TO DEMAND THAT ALL THAT HE SPEAKS SHALL BE REGARDED AS TRUTH, UNLESS HE CAN PROVE IT BY LETTING THE OTHERS TEST AND JUDGE WHAT HE SAYS WITH THE SCRIPTURES IN REAL TIME IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION!
NO MAN IS TO BE DEBARRED FROM THE RIGHT OF INTERRUPTING AND THEN CANVASSING FREELY, AND COMPARING WITH THE BIBLE, AND WITH SOUND REASON IN DOCTRINES OF GOD'S WORD, all that the minister of the gospel advances TO ASSURE ALL THAT IS BEING TAUGHT IS DONE IN TRUTH & RIGHTEOUSNESS IN REAL TIME IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION!
NO UPRIGHT MINISTER WHO FEELS HE IS SPEAKING GOD'S WORD WITHOUT ERROR , WOULD EVER HOLD BACK OR PROHIBIT THE PEOPLE FROM EXAMINING EVERYTHING THAT HE SPEAKS TO THE PEOPLE IN REAL TIME IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE CONGREGATION!
AND ALSO TO ADD REVELATION, OR EDIFY EVEN MORE ECT...IT IS A WRITTEN COMMAND FROM THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF 1 CORINTHIANS 11-14 IS A CONTINUOUS COMMAND.
IT MUST NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER!!!
.*20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication*
, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
*21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.*
*22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.*

BECAUSE MOST CHURCHES ON EARTH ARE NOT RECOGNIZED TO BEGIN WITH. BOTH PASTORS AND CONGREGATIONS.
*MATHEW 18 IS ABOUT TWO PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD THE OTHER DO SOMETHING WRONG OUTSIDE CONGREGATION. TIMOTHY APPLIES IN THE CONGREGATIONS WHO DO SUCH WICKEDNESS.*
*GOD DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MOST CHURCHES ON EARTH BECAUSE THEY REJECT THE CONTINUANCE OF COMMANDMENTS FROM JESUS CHRIST IN 1 CORINTHIANS 11-14*
      *31 FOR YOU CAN (ALL) PROPHESY (ONE BY ONE), (SO THAT (ALL) (MAY LEARN) AND (ALL) (MAY BE EXHORTED);

Like the ludicrous loud volume in worship services. It not only breaks God's natural laws concerning our hearing, it says the Gospel of Christ is not enough to draw young ppl. There has to be rock concert, heavy metal volume to draw the young. What the terrible loud volume in worship has really done is brought division (many don't attend church anymore), it also inhibits many from hearing that "still small Voice" during Worship. Christians need to return to serving each other not encouraging arrogance especially among the youth.

They might have been shocked, confused, and frozen in place, thinking WHAT THE HECK just happened. Then, they might have thought 'I have confidence that Pastor John had a reason for this. THEN, if that reasoning did not get revealed-then they would have discussed this with their friend's. Then, having come to agreement that this performance was a bad decision, they would have taken appropriate action..
