  • What happened after Mark Driscoll was kicked off the stage by John Lindell at the 2024 Stronger Men's Conference?
In what seems to have become the weirdest Christian men's conference we've heard of, things just get weirder.
In this video, we'll find out what happened and I'll offer some lessons we can take from this ordeal as we seek to lead faithfully and intentionally in our own contexts.

Where is Driscoll's Jezebel spirit in the Bible?
He's not known for using Scripture in the proper context, and being vulgar and rude, therefore, could someone clear this up for me by giving me the chapter and verse that Driscoll used for his Jezebel spirit?
      I'd appreciate it.

@@kathyd456Luke 1:17 talks about John the baptist walking in the "spirit of Elijah". There are two people who are called "the son of perdition" - they are Judas Iscariot and who will one day be the Antichrist mentioned in Revelation, so it then means that the Antichrist will be possessed by the same spirit as Judas. There is no "spirit of Jezebel" mentioned in the bible per se but one of the letters to the churches calls out the acceptance of that Jezebel in the church who has led them into sexual sin. So it is possible and was already happening back then that someone could walk in the spirit of Jezebel and lead people down the same path of deception.

I wonder if the disagreement came from a difference in understanding about what that man’s performance was. Yes, he was holding onto a pole. But I’ve watched videos of people doing feats of strength on pull up bars, doing very similar moves. One of the things that guy did is a crazy feat of strength called a “flag”. Nothing inappropriate or “sensual” or “sexual” about it. But if you start drawing parallels to strippers, it takes a totally different meaning. And perhaps Lindell told Driscoll he was out of line because Mark was interpreting it in a way that was inaccurate and unintended. Granted, the guy ripping his shirt off was odd. My charitable interpretation of that would simply be to say it was aligned with a feat of strength (not meant to be sensual). Do you think the performer honestly thought he was “ascending a pole” in conflict to God who has descended / come down to us? Do you think he believed his role was to be performing a sensual performance to a group of Christian men at a conference? Probably not.
Still an odd choice though - I wonder what their intention of having that performer was. But I’m not ready to jump on the ”Mark should never apologize” bandwagon. After all. There are misunderstandings in this world!

Can u imagine Jesus swinging around ona pole and swallowing a sword to help save souls? Yep, a pole and a sword, that's just perfect for edifying the church and pleasing God. Forget the countless men living here in the USA that have suffered at the hands of communists for the name of Jesus. Forget all the men from the middle east that live here after their persecution for the name of Jesus. They are clearly horrible choices to edify and build men into warriors for the Lord.

When we went to Promise Keepers in the early 90's, we spoke about being men of God. We didn't have any distractions with boxing matches, rodeos or other silly side shows. We got down to worshiping God, Praying over our families and coming together as men and the spiritual leaders of our houses.

The people of that church that didn't get up and leave after what Pastor Mark Driscoll rebuked in love need prayer. If Mark did not publicly rebuke darkness as Jesus/Yeshua did, it would only cost more souls that would never find the Truth and if Mark had told Pastor John Lindell what God/Yahweh put on his heart to share, he would have not permitted it to be said. The people are so blind to the Truth. They don't even realise what Truth is in the scriptures; the definition of Truth, according to the Bible, that is... If you have read this far, let me lift the veil from your eyes, to show you the Truth. You'll be surprised to find out what the Church has been missing for sooo many years.
Yeshua said, to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
Here, Yeshua is declaring that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life... Now, if you have done your Bible research, you will have found out that in these words that Yeshua said that He is, are based on words and scriptures from the Law/Torah. Basically, you can take these words, (Way, Truth, Life, Light, the Word), and summarize them all to one word: Torah. Yeshua is saying that He is the Word/Torah. So, all these words describe the goodness of Him, the Word. The Truth! :) The Torah/Word is Light, as found in this popular scripture we've all read:
"Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path." Psalm 119:105
The writer of this scripture verse isn't referring to any old word man has uttered or written, but the Word. Remember that. ;) Here in the Book of John, John is revealing to us who the Christ/Messiah is:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." John 1:1-5
The Word/Torah shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend it! So, knowing this, Yeshua is the Light, shining the Light lifting the veil from your eyes. showing you that the Torah is good; that He is GOOOOD! :D Here's another scripture that goes TOTALLY along with the Jezebel topic:
"For the commandment is a lamp,
      And the law a light;
Reproofs of instruction are the way of life,
To keep you from the evil woman,
From the flattering tongue of a seductress." Proverbs 6:23-24
As you can see, the Church has lied to us all our lives on what the Truth is. The Church needs to wake up and realize that the whole Bible is true and that we need to stop listening to preachers/pastors that have the "Jezebel spirit," that lead the flocks to the slaughter, that continue to preach that it's ok to accept alternative lifestyles (which are an abomination to God, according to His Word/Torah/Yeshua, the Messiah that we are in covenant with), and that we now know that Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc, are not part of the Bible, but are pagan holidays in honor to Baal and the "sun gods" that pastors with the Jezebel spirit taught our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents and passed them down to us. We must stop and think about who's doctrine is the pure doctrine from heaven, and who's isn't. Yeshua/the Word is the true doctrine/manna sent down from heaven. He is a jealous husband, if that makes sense, and won't share us with any other god/"mighty one." The Church needs to realize that what was lost for generations is now found. That is, the Holy Days/Feasts of the Lord our God, (notice that they are called Feasts of the Lord, and not of a people of a particular nationality, if you can guess which one). ;)
Let me introduce you to... The Holy Day's of our Creator!!! :D
      Passover
      Feast of Unleavened Bread
      First Fruits
      Feast of Weeks/Pentacost
      Feast of Trumpets
      Day of Atonement
      Feast of Tabernacles or Booths
And of course, the 7th day creation sabbath, which the Lord hallowed and blessed, and said that it is a perpetual "sign" or "mark" on His people when they keep it, which occurs on 7th day of the week on Saturday, (the seventh day of the week, not Sunday, the 1st day of the week)! :D
If you have read this far, I'm thrilled that you are interested in knowing what God wants the Church to be doing in these last days!!! But you may have some doubts about if this were true, that we should be keeping the Feasts/Holy Days of the Lord and the 7th day sabbath and drop the teachings and "feasts"/holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc), of the Jezebel Spirit that goes contrary to the Truth/Word/Torah/Yeshua. If we know the Truth, we are in good hands in knowing which doctrines are of God and which are of the deceiver/evil one. Truly, this is the Truth. :)
Here is further proof that the Law/Torah/Commandments are not done away with in the end days:
"And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went
to make war with the rest of her offspring,
who keep the commandments of God
and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Revelation 12:17
If the Law/Torah/Yeshua was "nailed to the cross" and we use that statement to say that people who accept Christ as Lord and Savior no longer should consider keeping the holy Law, then why does the end pages of the Bible say the contrary; that the dragon in Revelation will go after the last days "remnant" that are keeping the righteous Law/Commandments? Hmm... "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many." (Matt. 7:13) Something's not right Church! We need to have "ears to hear" as our Messiah Yeshua, the Word/Law/Torah said. The word "hear" in Hebrew is "shema" and describes hearing and also its effects - taking heed, being obedient, and doing what is asked. So, Yeshua was asking us to listen to what He had to say, to be obedient to Him. There is full joy in what He has called us to do. :)
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome." 1 John 5:3
Tip on identifying the Jezebel spirit in preachers/pastors sermons/teachings:
If they say that the Word/Torah is done away with and that you should not keep the Feasts/Holy Days of the Lord, you know that doctrine is not the True manna/doctrine from above.
      Shalom! :)

He just happened to be a TAX MAN, and that being the last weekend, he made quite a sacrifice to get here! He then called his wife to discuss what he should do because he was concerned about his friend, but his wife said, "Come on back." I thought after I wrote this that it happened because Father was never there in the first place.
I left the charismatic movement long ago after I asked the pastor why he only spoke of the blessings of the OT and not the warnings.
I know that sounds strange, but I was a baby Christian at the time.
The pastor said that they didn't apply to us because of Christ's sacrifice. We were blessed beyond that.
I knew in my heart I was called to a quietness with Father, not yelling and running around the sanctuary like a crazed person.
Holiness, for me, is a quiet place of self-discipline and denial, where we lay on our bed at night and examine our hearts.
I'm still working on it, on me.
My husband and I strongly disagree on the sanctuary and what I consider as reverence to Father.
Do people really need the bottle of water or their expensive coffee so much? Can they not deny their flesh for 1 hour to enter into the Holy place of Father?
So many are happy with the milk and being fed by someone who never asks more of them.
I keep reminding myself that I better focus on me because I will also stand before Father one day, and I have so much that I need to do to prepare myself.
May Father's blessings and grace be with you wherever you go.

Of course we should love one another, but there are some things that need to be voiced to protect the presence of the Lord in the church. As we get closer to the return of Jesus, the tares need to be separated from the wheat.

They just focused on declaring their love/appreciation for each other and mending the relationship - which is great - but not at the expense of brushing aside the matter that set this whole thing off. These charismatic churches with their behaviors are foretold in the Bible. It amazes me that these men claim to read and study the Bible to the point that they claim the Bible to be their compass but somehow miss the scriptures that describes these types of behaviors to come in the last days that they themselves are doing and practicing. Talk about scales on your eyes. If you are in a church that sings these so called praise and worship songs, have female 'pastors', speak in tongues, claiming miraculous healings as well as raising people from the dead, have 'prophets', support LGBTQ nonsense, and need church to be a show just so you feel good, etc, etc don't walk but run very fast away. These churches are not of God. Quit collecting men and pastors that say what you want to in hopes of soothing your itching ears. Quit buying books upon books, Bible study after Bible study from these counterfeit Christians and just immerse yourself in God's word; the only book you need. You don't need man's understanding of God's perfect word. Instead, read God's word and allow the "helper", (Holy Spirit) speak to you and guide you according to His word and understanding. Remember the path is narrow and FEW will find it.

"For the commandment is a lamp,
      And the law a light;
      Shalom! :)

There was also a kind of "passive aggressive" aspect to this "makeup" talk that reminded me of how men will slap their wives around, and THEN, instead of simply OWNING it, deeply repenting for it and committing to STOP that abuse/offense, he will reiterate his "love" for his wife in front of the kids, etc. But the stripper wasn't even refenced in all this sugar talk. The fact of the matter, is that it would've been super effective and beneficial for John to be a man of humbleness, OWN UP to the episode, state that he has learned from it and won't make that mistake going forward, and THEN apologize to Driscoll for placing him in a position where he was left to state the obvious to a huge audience. If he would've done that, it would've been a victorious witness for the Lord and His Kingdom. But...as it was....😔

Brandon, you did an amazing job showing it all and presenting your views in a professional manner. I agree with what you said. I feel what they did up there was ingenious and forced.

I usually see people who first stand for the truth and defends their beliefs, but afterwards they apologize for opening peoples eyes..
