Thank you so much! Haha. Yes...it has been a while since I've put up new content. My summer got VERY busy. I hope to get some new material out soon.

One of my favorite uses is to add a touch of Cobalt Teal to Cerulean Blue for a summer Mississippi sky. It adds just the right greenish edge.

I have a Cobalt Turquoise (PG50) by Schmincke on my palette and pair it wit Quin. Violet (PV19) and Green Gold (PY129) quite often. Mixed with Quin. Red Light it mixes some dusky violets I never have thought of mixing. Mixed with Indian Yellow it mixes warmer greens than with Green Gold. It's just a wonderful mixing color to have and it's now one favorites of all time.

One of my favorites! Mine is a PB28 Cobalt Turquoise from Mission Gold. I would like to get a PB50 to compare.
Mijello Mission's color naming conventions are often weird, but in this case I think it's Daniel Smith with the odd naming choices. What DS calls TEAL I would call TURQUOISE and vice versa. Wouldn't you say turquoise leans yellow while teal leans blue?
My only DS blue so far is the primatek Amazonite and it's a gorgeous aqua, best used from tube as it dries quite hard in the pan.

Hi. Thanks for leaving a comment. Yes. I completely agree with you. If I were in charge at Daniel Smith I would probably use different names. I actually have a video on this very topic. I compare Turquoise and Teal and I share four recipes for mixing your own colors. Have fun!! th-cam.com/video/r_Kewh6oEK8/w-d-xo.html

Thank you so much for your videos. They’re great, but…….. birds don’t have “foliage”. :)
