    Yours was the best video for seed area measurement. Can u upload video on seed shape analysis for different shapes. I am having the images. Can you guide me with it.

      Hello, In the video, there is a part where I set measurements. You can add Shape description to the set measurement.

    Very informative video. The video provides valuable information that I intend to utilize for analyzing my rice grains. I have a question concerning the Specific Leaf Area (SLA). I am interested in measuring the SLA of the rice leaves; however, I am unsure about the appropriate amount of leaf sample (fresh weight) required to determine the area of the leaf sample (cm) in the SLA formula, which is defined as follows: Specific Leaf Area = SLA (cm/g) = Area of Leaf Sample (cm) / Dry Weight of Leaf Sample (g). Thank you

      hi Dan,
      For the SLA calculation, my advice would be to do the following;
      1. Cut a fixed length of the all freas leaf (assign numbers S/N to each leaf)
      2. Using the S/N of each leaf, measure the area of each fresh leaf and document the values
      3. Weigh the leaf to determine the weight
      It is important that you stick to the numbering of each leaf. so that you can get the correcty SLA for each individual leaf and then you can plot the distribution of the SLA in a chart or find the average SLA of all the leaves.
      cheers!

      @@AliceritaE I would like to inquire about Stomata Analysis in Image J. Do you possess a protocol for this procedure? Specifically, I am interested in understanding how the initial leaf imprint image is obtained. Is the imprint achieved through the application of nail varnish, or is the image captured using a scanner or camera?

      Hi Dach, you can capture the image of the leeeaf with a camera or scanner. all that is important is that you add a ruler beside the same before scanning or capturing the image
