    Enthralling watch and for us observers the preceding freight train, with it's impact on signals on the route added interest. Subscribed, with thanks for posting the superbly edited three videos on this trip.

    Great to see how the infrastructure has changed, my first visits to Sevenoaks and Tonbridge having been more than 50 years ago, including visiting the remains of Tonbridge MPD in about 1969

      These videos do make interesting historical viewpoints, especially some of my early videos. The London skyline has changed so much since (as has the railway infrastructure!)

    Is there someone monitoring the tracks to see which train is on what track

      Pretty much all tracks are track circuited. This means they show a signaller where every single train is. This also prevents routes being changed whilst a train is in that section
      There are also other technologies such as axle counters, but basically signallers will know which sections have trains in them
