Hey donut, the lady got that officers gun because his holster had no retention or any levels of restraints on it. If you check 7:58 the officers firearm seems to be in an open unsecured holster that shouldn’t be used in LE at all.
I was assuming the guys that showed up were off-duty and just happened to be nearby. That’s why they had EDC-type holsters and not duty holsters. But that’s just a guess.
Those who have never dealt with them before would listen to her rambling and honestly believe she is no threat. Then condemn the police for the way they "treated" her.
That department is embarrassing, how did that officer not feel her grabbing her gun?! And how did the officer behind them not seeing her trying to grab it?! Yikes....
I mean I give the benfit of the doubt to the officer perhaps he though it her bumping into him or something I am more pissed NOT one of the other officer said anything about it had they spoken up could've been prevented
I love how the customers at the counter are just standing there and didn’t even look when cop was yelling two feet from them with her gun out. They didn’t look up until she said every one out of the store. Great situational awareness.
Ironically, the sentences, “Get on your knees” and “turn over on your stomach” are the same things she obeyed to earn the money for the meth in the first place.
At a train/pickup crash. Local PD asked me to assist as I was EMS in next city. I was coming home from Country bar. *one drink 3 hours earlier* I have my Ostrich black boots, black pants, fancy Western shirt, bolo *left my hat in car* EVERYONE comes to me for instructions. Once I saw no injured I am dead weight but Officer pulled me over, I left my car, rode with. I am 3 miles from my car. The Engineer asks if it’s ok to back up train. “See that guy with badge, gun in the uniform? He is in charge”. The tow truck driver. “See guy badge, gun, uniform?” The driver. The train supervisor from 15 miles away. I get pointed out. Officer. “You are coming from bar but everyone goes to you”.
Take a closer look. The holster that the gun was taken out of was not a level 3, just a regular kydex holster with no other retention (hood, ALS, etc) The detective special if you will. You can see a close look at the holster from one of the body cams during the fight behind the counter. That’s why the gun was taken so easily.
Yes I noticed that as well. I'm not a LEO but is there training when you're walking next to a handcuffed suspect to walk them on the side where you don't have a gun? (So left side for most of us righties.). I've also heard it's smart to always keep your gun hand free of anything. (Flashlight, holding papers, ID's etc.). Obviously if you're writing with a pen not possible. Again I'm not in law enforcement so just wondering.
I have watched the raw footage. She was drug fried and high, crazy, or both. Definitely dangerous and delusional with how she acted the whole time. Speech loops, thought she was talking to friends she grew up with that were really the cops, and then there the violent, unpredictable behavior.
Yo the boonies out here in Arizona are the meth Wild West. Cartel hoofs it across the border and the mid state and northern areas are just washed with the stuff. What makes it worse/better is it’s one of the few things the Jalisco and Sonoran cartels don’t put fent in. So it makes it more “safe”. Hell of a double edge sword.
her whole gig was talking somewhat calmly and saying shes not gonna do this or that, to find a weak spot in the arrest and she facking did!!!! haha But damn bro did you see how messed up her eyes were, that poor girl. jail is gonna do her good and i never say that.
You know there’s gonna be someone saying “that poor lady didn’t even know what was going on they had no right assaulting her like that” and it just makes me laugh
All that physical stress and a taser. Yet she is still trying to hold a normal conversation. That's scary just watching it. To actually be there. Blows my mind.
As a retired flight nurse I can say that people with those “super powers” (people high on drugs) truly attain super powers. Working for a police department, it's insane to see an officer not have basic hand to hand skills. So many opportunities this could've been prevented by the first officer on scene if she had any idea how to wrestle.
Yeah it reminds me of when donut had done a little roll with a jui jitsu instructor to show why cops should practice it after a cop had to shoot a drunk fire fighter
That, and it looks like some of the pretzels she's trying to bend the suspect in seem kind of impossible given there are still bones. It doesn't appear strictly necessary to pull arms up in order to get them in cuffs. Seems preventable with better understanding of human physique.

Thanks for the video donut! Shows simple arrests aren’t simple. And LEO’s get complacent sometimes. The threat is always there until they are behind bars.
Re: Drug Super Powers. I was a bouncer in college. Fought a meth head who was half weasel half immortal. Kid was 20 so we kicked him out for being underage. Comes back higher than hell with a wrench to attack us. Three of us wrestle the wrench away, pin him down. Repeatedly he starts weaseling his way out from under us, and each time tries to attack the nearest non-combative person. We delivered an amount of ground and pound on him that would have been absolutely unacceptable in any normal situation. I cannot believe how no matter what we did, absolutely nothing fazed this guy. By the time he was rendered unconscious, there was five us out fighting him. This was a rowdy place, everyone on security could handle themselves well, but five of us could barely subdue this little 150lb tweaker. Police arrive, angry he's unconscious. We start getting chewed out and are worried we'll be in trouble. Guy comes back to consciousness and attacks us and the police. We manage to wrestle him in the back of a police SUV. Soon as the lead officer catches his breath he says forget about the dressing down. Downright scary how drugs made that kid into a wrecking ball.
Did the cops still complain after he got out of counciousness? Man some cops didn't see a methhead it seems. If they did, they'd know that methhead is just fine when knocked out.
Sherriff's generally dont do things real hands on like this. Their main purpose is generally prisoner transportation, courtrooms, county affairs, evictions, low level warrants, shit like that. at least where im at
@@StopBanningMaStuffYou're talking about deputies. And they are countywide, but thanks to municipal police, you won't hardly see them in the city, or police jurisdiction. Not to be that guy, but the sheriff, is only one man, or woman, at the top. The mayor's somewhat equal, Even though the sheriff has law enforcement capabilities, and the mayor does not. The mayor will appoint a chief, but we will vote for the sheriff.
How freakin embarrassing for that cop. Her managing to shoot him while cuffed is wild. He probably had it drawn at some point and then didn't properly get it back in all the way, allowing her to manipulate the holster.
The other bigger cop had the same thing. A nylon POS that squished flat after he pulled his weapon. That's why he was struggling to holster it while he was wrestling with her.
My husband used to work DOC Transportation. The stories are epic. He then received a “promotion” that pulled him from transportation to the worst dorm in the max level prison.
When i was a CO i got into an altercation with a 5 foot 3 inch 115 lb inmate. He had smoked synthetic cannabinoids and was convinced that he had hundreds of demons inside of him given him strength. Honestly he might have been right lol. I am 200 lbs and in good shape. Well it was everything i could do to keep ahold of this guy while i waited for backup. It took myself and 5 other large COs to get the dude in cuffs. Spicy spray had no effect on him at all. Certain drugs can definitely give someone super strength.
Been there bro. Had an inmate hopped up on dust. Took 4 of us to take him down. I was 302lbs at time. ( had a gut but lifted weights and hauled hay bales as well). Another guy weighed nearly 400. (Fat guy but was also a pro-wrestler. Very minor league/circuit or what have you). Other guys were 200ish and more. We got tossed around like rag dolls
I actually know people who do deliverances on people who are demon possessed. They really can have supernatural strength. At one of them, there was this 6'4 275 lb guy who was a security guy. The girl being delivered was under 5 feet, and maybe 90-95 lb's. She picked him up and threw him against the wall. It was a while that she was like that, then when they left, she was at peace a totally different person, she had no idea what had even happened. There is a supernatural world that people don't want to see, but it really does exists.
Come on guys use better tactics. Drugs only delay their pain response, hence the sense of it feeling like they are super strong. If you understand the human body manipulate the limbs so they can use that " super human strength " and they tie themselves. I'm 150lb 5 foot 5 and have by my self restrained 245lb plus guys high on a 5 day meth and fenty bender.
I'm surprised that, not only did this guy not feel her grabbing his gun, but the guy walking behind him somehow didn't notice either. Why would they hold someone like this on the side that has their gun anyway? You'd think that they'd have her on the opposite to specifically avoid a situation like this.
holster at his strong-side, hauling the arrestee with his strong arm. There were multiple officers on-hand, he shouldn't have been hauling her himself, and he should be reprimanded for using that holster on duty.
That holster was not a level III you can see its a friction kydex you can see it super clearly at the 8:00 mark idk what department policy is but anyone open carrying should have at minimum a level II retention holster definitely could have been prevented
That and the heavyset officer who restrains her after the shooting almost negligent discharges into himself trying to re-holster with one hand into his waistband. A lot of "oof" in this video.
@@jimsturt This IS what everyone SHOULD be talking about in every comment section in my opinion ! The insane incompetence from these very "heavy out of shape" officers that ive seen on 5 videos in the last 3 days. Seeing this all the time now, officers not securing their firearms ect ect
@@shanghunter7697 Correct! Untold numbers of officers have been saved by level 3 holsters. But perps still end up getting the officers' guns. Weapon retention has been taught for a long time. Doesn't seem like this crew were taught it. It drives me crazy that officers aren't required to pass a physical fitness test every 6 months. These guys would be doing poogie PT every morning in the Coast Guard or any other service. Unfortunately everywhere you go you see overweight out of shape officers.
I've never been a cop but I used to work as a security guard for a hospital that had a psych ward attached to it well about.. 45% of the patients going in and out of the unit were meth heads and in my personal experience they were the most difficult to deal with from just how unprodictable they are it can range from they will do whatever you tell them. Too they are ready to fight anyone who gets in there way to get out of there and if they still got enough of juice in there system it's like fighting linebacker every time sometimes worse depending how big they are to begin with
Its not so much the drugs as it is staying up for days without sleep. My mom was a skinny crack head and she had absolutely no strength when high after years of COPD and waisting away to nothing. That female cop was just weak.
My question is how did the officer following the officer escorting her to the car not see he reaching at the belt for the gun? And again like you said Donut how do you not feel a meth head messing with your holster?
And further more, after being clearly combative and repeatedly resisting, why were there not two officers holding either of her arms? I have only been placed in the back of a cop car once (it was a case of mistaken identity after a huge bar brawl between about 12 people) and myself and everyone else that was detained were escorted by two officers to the backs of cars while they reviewed security footage and took witness testimony. Maybe their department's policies are relatively lax, but I bet they won't be after this.
this is my guess. one - He thought his level 3 gun holster will keep his gun safe, two - he was underestimate her because she was a crack head or three - he have bad Self-awareness.
Why are people experiencing excited delirium or who are likely on super-power drugs not double-cuffed (wrist-to-elbow, both sides)? And why do cops think that barking commands with "The Voice" is going to work the magic of persuading such people into handcuffs in the first place?
@dementious Im in recovery for a couple years and theirs a vibe you can sense on some people and with the cop who got shot he seemed like he might have been a percocet/vicodin user. Probably caught some back injuries on the job over the decades and probably drinks in the evenings. Im willing to bet that between pain pills, hangover, being too old amd too fat, probably dehydrated and full of shitty carbs, and winded from the fight, he was in no condition to be in a high stress high risk scenario. Idk about the officer behind him theres ko excuse for that kind of lack of situational awareness.
Probably best to realize when someone high keeps trying to gaslight you with "who hurt you?" and "I won't hurt you" - you gotta know she WANTS to hurt you.
@@bebop4874Nah, quality of officers varies pretty greatly in different counties, states and even departments. Many of the cops in this video are out of shape and certainly haven’t had much training. This leads to avoidable deaths and critical situations. However, the “defund the police” crowd is too stupid to realize that defunding the police does the opposite of what they want to achieve.
I’m a recovering addict (tried them all but nothing ruined me like cheap and legal booze) I had meth once thinking it was coke. Coke lasts maybe 10 minutes while that line of meth had me high for two days straight ! I remember being very angry because I was lied to and figured how can anyone get addicted to this drug? Never had it again. Also got arrested once, I must have been under the influence of like 3 drugs at the same time and knew automatically that there’s no point in fighting a cop. Only makes things worse, as soon as I heard “hands up “ I knew the party was over. So these “junkies” were violent assholes with or without the drugs. Drugs just make it easier for you to do what you already wanted.
This isn't meth. This is 100% bath salts. Also, meth looks a good bit different than coke, maybe you were drunk or something. And as soon as the first little pinch hit your nostril, you would have known something was up. Meth BURNS when snorted. Maybe you were just drunk or something, been there/done that. Meth is pretty easy to become addicted to, the first few times trying it does give you that feeling, but after you get used to it, very easy to enjoy it. But, this isn't meth in the video, this is guaranteed bath salts.
Meth is a convenience step from heroin, which is often a step from pain killers. That's why people choose it, you can get it cheap, it lasts long and you don't notice the draw backs because of the steps.
That was one of those detective friction retention holsters I think. There was a few frames in the store where you could see it. Either way the lack of awareness and the fact only one officer took her outside was astounding
I knew a guy, an actual adult who thought he could get superpowers from radiation. I was like nope, just your cells break down and you die faster depending on the amount ingested. Also, it was nice to hear about the gunsmithing course. I'm a self taught gunsmith, with over 40yrs experience. In the last 15 I've started creating my own designs. I've got prototypes that work, and now I'm more accurately a personal defense engineer. I worked on a few designs with two other gunsmiths. I need to hurry up and show them off to the right people or get exposure at the shot show sometime soon. Life gets in the way right now though.
Boomers worked in a popular culture mindset. At the time, that mindset did not understand radiation. Popular culture has an artifact called magic. And magic is that which is powerful, and cannot be understood. If it is understood, it ceases to be magic. There was a mindset in the first half of the 20th century that took a reverse approach and turned anything that was technological but not fully understood by the popular culture and used it as magic. The boomers really should have known better, though. At any rate, the popular culture did not understand radioactivity. So Stan Lee, boomer that he was, used radioactivity as magic. And that's what's really happening in the Spiderman story: magic. Just dishonestly inserted into the story. So now we have people who don't know any better thinking that radioactivity can give them superhuman powers. Because they're not grasping that these stories are just stories of magic, not much less so than LOTR or Conan. The one saving grace of Spider-Man and the hulk is that they subtract the occult from magic, somewhat.
Just saying in his defense, radiation gives you some super powers, so try not to be so closed-minded.... Power 1: you get to use all your bodily fluids unrestricted Power 2: You have the ability to shed your skin Power 3: You can beat your friends to whichever afterlife you've chosen.
@@sincerelyme6928 The great thing about radiation is, that even if Powers 1-3 turn out to be temporary, you might eventually unlock a consolation power: Growing bigger in unexpected places! Some doctors pretend that's a bad thing and suggest action to make it stop, but they're just jealous

Because the transporting officer thought she was bumping and dragging against his body, and the trailing officer's body cam wasn’t pointed at where he was actually looking. Most departments take pains to point out in released body cam footage that the camera is often not pointed at what the officer is actually looking at, because people so commonly think whatever they see on video is the same thing the cop saw.

It took myself and 5 other large COs to get the dude in cuffs. Spicy spray had no effect on him at all. Certain drugs can definitely give someone super strength.

@dementious Im in recovery for a couple years and theirs a vibe you can sense on some people and with the cop who got shot he seemed like he might have been a percocet/vicodin user.

She tried the tried and true female defense of "who hurt you" when caught. LoL.
I love how she says "who hurt you", no Methany, who hurt YOU, that you became shoeless a drug goblin.
Lmfaooooo😂😂😂😂
This is super embarrassing for all these officers 🤦🏻
how?
@@JohnyMeBoi You should be embarrassed for asking, "How?"
@@JohnyMeBoi lol
How in Sam’s hell could you not feel her trying to snag on his gun! His partner behind him sure had his back too! And that looked like an unsecured holster that regular joes like us wear but I could be wrong! 😂
Yeah all of these officers are just fucking tarted 😂
yeah both of the fat old cops had shitty holsters they probably bought in the 90s
@@ultimatums1 😂😂
Because the transporting officer thought she was bumping and dragging against his body, and the trailing officer's body cam wasn’t pointed at where he was actually looking. Most departments take pains to point out in released body cam footage that the camera is often not pointed at what the officer is actually looking at, because people so commonly think whatever they see on video is the same thing the cop saw.
She must have been a force to be reckoned with in middle school!
Came here for the obligatory "she's someone's daughter! How can you be so harsh!" comments but haven't seen any yet and I'm glad
She said "call 911, my neck snapped" as she does a jiujitsu roll
4:44 The length of time it takes those two NPCs, in heavy discussions about their Twisted Tea purchase, to acknowledge their surroundings is mind-boggling.
LOOOOOL holy fuck is it ever
twisted tea is pretty good though
I have a feeling the Mojave County Sheriff's office is going to use this as a training video of how NOT to escort a suspect in handcuffs...

My friends and I play airsoft and few of them are police officers. I have tried to pull thier side arms (airsoft) off thier hips and pretty much the instant i touch it they have their hand on mine... how this guy isnt aware she is going for his gun is insane.
The best part to me is the other officer watching the lady and not saying a thing as she’s clearly reaching for his side
you're like that meme lol
That’s range clip…the sound of freedom. Brings a tear to my eye
I appreciate your funny commentary donut. Don’t change
"Can I please go to my son's spelling bee?" METHY METH METH METH!
“Do I have f*** me eyes?”
“No you have give us the rock my precious eyes” 😂
"I'm just kidding kids, don't do drugs." I needed a Donut PSA when I was a wee lad.
Always a good time to eat when donut operator posts
What's crazy is if you aren't really watching just casually and listening or seeing just a clip it sounds like she's the victim and that's probably what will get shown on cable news.
I was half expecting to hear "I can't breathe"
She's huwite. Cable news don't care about her.
My neck snapped 😂
She must have gotten a plea deal since I can count at least a dozen additional charges she could have gotten.
Imagine walking down a dark alley and that woman rushes you. Holy Hell, what a goblin!!!
brave of you giving Sam Hyde a machine gun, knowing his past record of being put in self defense situations
suprised he posted that lol dudes about to get so much twitter backlash probably will end up having to take down the picture and apoligize like everyone else who has openly supported sam
@@joshwaps681do you know who watches Donut Operator? Lol, Twitter weirdos are not his fans.
@kyanrinel5898 trust me i know donuts fanbase actually has some hair on there nuts and can take a joke. Sam has just pissed off and offended a lot of people i didnt think would. Sam brings out the hate in people lmao.
@@joshwaps681 I highly doubt those guys care about some little twitter users.
