    Ex-Aussie Prison Officer, 15 years service, and proud of my service "behind the wall". I once had a Prisoner ask me to pass him something from his mate across the tier, seeing as it was after lockup at the end of the day, I told him no, I'd only been out of training about a month. He told me "C'mon Boss, I thought you were human" as they tended to try and work over the new officers, my reply "Well that was your first mistake." I also had a Prisoner ask me why did I go to work everyday, cause he knew why he had to be there, but why did I go there willingly? My answer, cause they pay me. He accepted that. The best one was when I had a Prisoner fishing for my personal info, and asked my address, so I gave him one, and when he asked where that was, I told him "you're standing in it." He didn't twig I gave him the address of the prison! Got a laugh from fellow staff and some of the older long term prisoners.

      Former meth head
      Never heard of this. If people are doing this it's bc they haven't slept in days and are delusional.
      The scabs are from skin itching, and the sensation of something in or on the skin, plus compulsive picking. Like picking scabs from injuries or pimples. Meth leads to sleep deprivation which leads to delusions making the sensation and belief that something is on/in your skin, that much stronger. Idk where donut got this info from tbh. There's no evidence that meth "bubbles to the top of the skin" that's... not how that works.

    I work in a hardware store and the repeat thieves are well known and almost always dumb as hell. Recently, a repeat guy who comes in every few months tried it again with two female accomplices. They all split up and tried to look like individual shoppers. One of the women even brought her baby. The problem is they all behaved in an unusual manner from the average shopper. Our store always pushes for us to offer extra customer service to people like that because they don't want the attention. These people were trying to pull this off near closing so there weren't a lot of people around and the secondary entrance was locked by the manager. The excessive offers of assistance eventually got to the guy when he tried a "forgot my wallet, lol, brb" before losing it on the cashier and storming out. I clocked out and left as the last member was getting into an Altima with the other two. The guy saw me and decided to have words. He approaches and starts in with the, "Any particular reason you were following me around all night? I'll have you know I have a $60,000 inheritance and wanted to shop here." I just congratulated him on his inheritance and repeated that I'm off the clock and just going home while he ranted at me. Ain't no way am I going to tell him where he went wrong to improve his game.
    We have another lady who comes in different costumes pretending to be other people, but doesn't realize her sizeable butt is recognizable from across the store.
    There really isn't much planning going through these people's heads.

What judge gives a $500 bond to someone with two open felony bond violations? More importantly though, it becomes apparent after seeing all these interactions that we Wisconsinites are pretty damn lucky to have the cops and sheriffs we do - they’re fucking awesome. They don’t put up with any bullshit, but at the same time they treat people with respect and are always professional. Axon bodycams have been a blessing to society. • @ikatekeda6267
      @ikatekeda6267 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +21

      The difficulty with addiction isn't actually the getting them clean part. That part is actually the easiest. It's preventing relapse. It doesn't matter if we hold them for a year, get them clean, and release them because we aren't solving the core of the issue, and that is *why* they are doing meth in the first place. The one thing that is almost universal when it comes to addicts is that they use whatever addictive substance or act as a way to cope or deal with the situation they are in. You hold them for a year and release them, you are releasing them into functionally the exact same situation. They will be struggling every day, and when the day is bad, their brain is gonna go "Remember what you did to deal with this before?" And they will be right back on the meth.
      Solving addiction requires a total system overhaul.

It's like Domino's Pizza, whenI book one in it's a race to see if I can get out in 30 minutes or less. This is kind of crazy, but I actually went to school with Dakota at a small town in Wisconsin. I know his situation wasn't near ideal growing up. At first when I saw him on Code Blue Cam and then blow up on Donut, I was excited to see a classmate in the wild. Not sure how I feel anymore, I just really hope he can break this downward spiral.
    Dakota if you are reading this- stay strong and please try to do better for yourself. For what it's worth, I remember you as very strong willed; if you set your mind on getting clean I know that you could do it.
