I am a great believer in stair climbing. I am 82 years old and have been doing it for 4 years. I always wear my heart rate monitor and stay within 80 to 100% of maximum heart rate. ( Sometimes to challenge myself, I go up to 115% for a short period) By the way, I climb 108 floors in one hour on a regular basis. (6x18 floors)
I can tell you, you immediately notice the difference in your cardio when you don't take the stairs. Conversely, all of the benefits are there for free.

104 floors in one sitting is very impressive for your age.
@1986mancini
Thank you.
I can do more, but I don't want to overdo it, at my age.
@HappyKamya
Less stress on your knees, if you just walk up.
Take the lift (elevator) down.

Hello sir. Can you tell you is it good to climb stairs with weights like 30 40kg
😮
Probably not.
I have been climbing with a 6kg daily for 25 storeys per climb. But 30 kg is a bit too heavy.
@ayushsinha7815 Hello, please use your brain to think first before asking stupid questions. 🙂
It's not any different from climbing while fat.
Cool
