Thank you gamer!!! 🫡🫡 Yes I will be having a word with Garrus about his performance, Liara is fine for now 😅 thank you I’ve heard great things about the next 2!! Thank you so much for watching 🫶
You're doing good. Some further notes while I watch: You thought that you can see more because of your recent upgrades. Nope, it's just that the Mako has a bigger radar and can see further. Once you get out of the Mako, the radar shrinks back down. There is an upgrade (in the weapon I think) that can stop your radar being jammed, although you'll need to keep upgrading it. I think the bigger your squadmates' Electronics skill is, the more shields your Mako will have. Also, I'm not sure if you know but the Mako has 2 guns - a rapid firing machinegun and a slower cannon. The machinegun is great at taking down shields but with how slow the cannon is, I normally alternate between them by shooting the machinegun between cannon shots. When firing your squad's abilities (such as Singularity) it goes where you are aiming. Like at 31:16 where you fired it into a wall. It helps to be first aiming at an enemy with your gun before you bring up the ability wheel. Also remember it can't shoot through cover so it's best to use abilities when enemies are out in the open. Or beside/above them for something like Singularity that can pull them out of cover. As you discovered at 1:02:00 Krogan are difficult to fight because they love to Charge into shotgun or melee range and they regenerate their health very fast so make sure you kill them quickly. There is no Jump in this game. For the door closing and locking your team out, it was probably a scripted event to try to trap you inside with the Geth. Once you know about it, you can order your squad through the door before you walk through. While the controls can be finnicky at times, for part of that you were giving out about Garrus not moving when he was actually dead. 🙂 For unlocking objects, you can do the circle mini-game OR you can skip it by using omni-gel. It is satisfying to do the minigame but in time the difficulty goes up and then you'll be glad of the omni-gel option. Remember: you can sell unwanted items (guns, armour, ammo, mods) in a shop OR you can convert them to omni-gel any time from your inventory. As you've seen, it's a good idea to build up a supply of omni-gel in case you need it. It's used for unlocking puzzles and repairing the Mako. FYI: Pistol with Marksman is one of the best combos in the game but it only lasts a few seconds so make the most of it.
Yay you have "Gary" on the mission. Liara is a must since it involves her mom, but having Garrus is great. Or maybe I'm just a Garrus fanboy, always have been 🤣
These bugs were the beginning of something else for me. Little did I know it would lead me to a very interesting part later on. Me no say spoilers hehe. Enjoy your progress!
Hey! You should check your inventory, and equip the best weapons and armor you found. All older models can be turned into omni-gel, or sold. When you buy the license, you will be able to buy the items in the store, from the dude on your ship later on.
Hey! Yes I need to have a look but I do check my armour and weapons, I’m just editing it out because I have to concentrate then 😂😂 Ooo I didn’t know that’s what the licenses were for! Interesting, I’ll check that when I go to the ship then, I’m guessing they’ll be way out my price range 😅 Thank you for watching 🩷
There are 2 types of gel in the game. Medi-gel, which is used to heal/revive yourself and your team. You get these from random pickups and sometimes from the auto loot system. Omni-gel, which is kind of a fix all gel used for bypassing locks, (if you don't want to do the mini game), and fixing the Mako when driving it. You get this by breaking down inventory items. This means you could have created some omni-gel to bypass the puzzle instead of looking on YT 😁 To create omni-gel go to the inventory screen select an item you don't want any more, then press Y to convert it to omni-gel, (pick your lowest ranked items). When recovering items from a container, you can convert them straight away by selecting X. Also the inventory does have a maximum capacity, unless they changed it in the legendary edition. Also the powers must be targeted. When telling a team mate to use, for example lift, they will use it straight away wherever your cross hairs are. You need to target an enemy first, then tell them to use it.
Ahh right, I always worry with stuff like that incase I get rid of something I need or good! 😅 I don’t like when stuff is easily thrown away in games! I’ll have a look off camera before I start recording next time! Thank you for the tip! Do you know if you can sell / convert things if they’re already equipped by a team member? Thank you for watching! 🫶
First step in using your squad powers effectively is to target an enemy while using them. ;) Yes, aim with the powers. Barrier is good for survivability. Like....really good in ME1.
@@eldeeable Yes, it is clunky. But like koe said, if you actually make sure you aim ON the enemy, your squadmate will know that that's what you want to hit. Essentially, the targeting will lock on. You're doing good! I'm enjoying myself more now!
2:58 "Pro-gress." 😁 Fun fact! This computer voice, doing the announcements as you enter and exit the ship? Same performer as your female Shepard. It's Jennifer Hale, genuinely one of the best ever to do it. As Shepard, she's a steely leader who's Seen Some Shit. And then she turns on Please Hold Your Call Is Important To Us voice as the computer. Oh, and she says "pro gress" because she's Canadian. BioWare is headquartered in Edmonton; if you listen closely to the voice performances, Canada is all over this thing. Love the channel! Keep up the fun vibe!

@@eldeeable My first playthrough, I didn't have enough omnigel so I had to try to complete it the hard way. After working on it for about 20 minutes, I finally resorted to a written walkthrough. Later playthroughs I made sure to have electronics and decryption skills levelled up and convert all obsolete gear and mods to omnigel so I always have plenty. Speaking of skills, your success opening locked crates depends not only on Shepard's skill at decryption, but your chosen squadmates as well. Thats completely fair, there’s a lot of points where it’s travel from point A to B where nothing much can happen. And yes ME 2 and 3 are way more streamlined, plus the dlc are awesome.
You came across one of the various design flaws in ME1. Your team on Noveria got stuck behind the door because you ran forward and caused the big door to open before your teammates could get inside. That caused the door to lock because that encounter is designed to keep you from retreating completely, but the game doesn't have a teleport ability for those trapped companions. It's probably a good idea to always make sure your companions get inside before progressing or pushing a button or so. Elevators can be bugged as well. Always save before entering an elevator in case the game gets stuck.
