Halo reach when?

Well Halo 3 being on Xbox 360 as an exclusive wasn't a collab. Halo has always been an Xbox exclusive. The only time it almost wasn't was before the very first game came out. It was originally going to be on the Mac. But then Microsoft began working on the original Xbox and talked to Bungie and they made it work, and Halo and the Master Chief became The poster boy, if you will, for the Xbox. As Mario is for Nintendo.

Before the game came they were really teasing that master chief may die at the end of it. That was the whole thing about the believe campaign saying they made a burial for him. I really liked the believe campaign and live action stuff because it sorta puts into perspective how big the covenant species really are. Like iirc i think a grunt is about 5 and a half feet tall while brutes were about 8-10 feet tall. Brutes were so big that their spiker is used one handed by them but you can see the marines in that museum video need both hands to lift it up and hold it.

It's impossible to overstate the amount of hype around Halo 3. It wasn't just a game on the Xbox 360, it was THE reason to have an Xbox. This was going to be the defining experience for a generation and Microsoft threw everything at it to make sure it was one hell of a ride.

Every geology teacher I've had had a picture of him in their class in a place of honor for his sacrifice. Might be due to a bit of Washington State pride or whatever, but still. Dude had nerves of titanium. He knew he couldn't escape, so he made *_damn_* sure his death was worth it.

I really don't know if anyone told you before but if don't, you MUST see the terminals of halo 1 and 2, it really complement the entire history of the games.

So glad I found your channel, amazing playthrough! I love watching reactions to the masterwork that are those cutscenes made by a studio named blur. A note on that is how, when the chief "gives the covenant back their bomb", it almost goes unnoticed just how much humanity is sacrificing in the background, which is a touch that most games never portray. I mean stations and ships full of soldiers are being destroyed by the second, and in that cutscene a frigate full of crew die sacrifice themselves to distract so chief can destroy one of the biggest ships the covenant had. Really visceral stuff. Your reactions were priceless. It was so funny when you did the "hello!" to the people cheering for the chief. Also where do I find a woman like this in the states? Asking for a friend lol

i also want to note more and more people forget the one hero of humantiy that faught to his death for us which well chief has yet to do since he is in other words a god of a spartan but noble six he faught bled with his team on reach and killed as many covies as he could before dying as the true placement for humanity chief is just barely carrying noble six's torch for humanity as junn who still lives is carrying everything noble six fught and died for.

This was the marketing for me back in 2007 that made me give Halo a shot and it was the most incredible experience. This was MASSIVE back in the day. The style of the advertising for its finale trilogy (H3) made me realize that "oh wow this isn't just any other shooter game, the creators genuinely believe in their story" and it was one of the most legendary games I've ever experienced. Halo back then was THE game.
