Wenn die Drehzahlen stimmen, schaltet er nen ticken zu früh. Ideal sollten etwa 6200 Umdrehungen sein, danach lässt dann das Drehmoment wieder ab. Einfach mal die passende Drehmomentkurve anschauen.
Öfter sendet das Auto (oder der OBD Adapter) zwischendurch keine Daten über die OBD Schnittstelle. Die Software schaut dann auf den nächsten Punkt wo es wieder Daten gibt und Interpoliert alles dazwischen. Heißt in dem Fall: Nach 5723/min kamen keine Daten mehr und der Nächste Datenpunkt lag dann schon im Bremsmanöver, wodurch die Drehzahl viel früher fällt als es eigentlich ist. Sieht man leider öfter in meinen Videos, ich weiß nicht woran es liegt (Auto, Kamera, OBD Adapter), denn es tritt bei fast allen Autos auf.
Well (the shown speed is the actual 1Hz GPS measured speed!) on a really flat Autobahn, those real 246 kph were the best this ST could do. Sure, with a little help from the gravity at a slope it could do more, but on its own I would doubt the 255 kph (as long as they are GPS measured). It will hit real 248 kph according to Ford, but everything above 230 kph takes pretty long. And due to traffic, curves/bends, etc. it's not that easy to go flat for so long... Maybe i'll have another shot in the future.
Well by law they are not allowed to be more than 10% over the actual speed and not allowed to under read the speed at all! Hence why they calibrate them to read close to the actual speed but always slightly over, NEVER under.
In the 3 Series you can easily do long distances, I wouldn't recommend that in the Focus ST. If you are looking for a sporty car, take the Focus ST, or go all the way and opt-in for an 335i. Trust me, the 35i/40i engine is far better than the 28i/30i and worth every extra Buck you have to spend more.
@@xconditioner i know the 6cyl bmw are better, but since im poor i cannot afford to pay taxes for a 3.0l because is like 1500 euros per year. On a 2.0 is like 800 euros per year here in romania at 20y/o. So maximum i can get a 2.0l engine. What would you choose between those 2? And maybe audi s3 is a competitor with 2.0 265hp (around 10-13k euros all cars mentioned) edit: is the focus st engine reliable? Because audi amd bmw are ticking timebombs :)
140 mph are 225 km/h, that's an pretty easy snack for the 250 hp ST. Above 145 mph it's starting to get sluggish. PS: And I'am always talking about real GPS speeds, not inaccurate speedometer speeds.

Also die Daten hat man auf jeden Fall. Optional wird die Geschwindigkeit auch per OBD aufgezeichnet, genau wie Drosselklappenstellung, Ansaugluft- und Kühlertemperatur und Drehzahl. Man kann sich dann bei der Videobearbeitung selbst überlegen, welche Daten man einblenden will. In diesem Fall ist es die Drehzahl, und Temperaturdaten über OBD, aber die GPS-Geschwindigkeit der VIRB, da die OBD Datenübertragung scheinbar manchmal hängt (sieht man teils an der Drehzahl, die sinkt obwohl man Gas gibt), und die Höchstgeschwindigkeit über OBD (komischerweise) niedriger war als per GPS. Es wurden nur 242 km/h über OBD angezeigt, aber 246 km/h via GPS.
Lässt sich schwer verallgemeinern. Bei richtig Knallgas auf engen Landstraßen mit vielen Kurven kann der auch mal knapp 16 Liter brauchen. Rein Autobahn mit viel Tempomat 130 und relativ großer Disziplin sind auch mal 7,5 Liter möglich. Unter 9 Liter im Alltag halte ich für schwer machbar, bzw dann macht der doch ziemlich kompromisslos hart ausgelegte ST einfach keinen Sinn. Wer den ST wirklich öfter Artgerecht bewegt wird wohl eher bei 10 Liter brauchen. Meiner Erfahrung nach braucht der ST schon nen guten Liter mehr als zB ein Golf 7 GTI mit Handschaltung.
Im Mix sind 8 - 9,5 Liter normal. Im Schleichmodus gehen unter 6, bei Krawall auf der Autobahn sind auch über 20 Liter drin. Bei 190 - 200 verbraucht er so 10 - 11 Liter.
Liege bei meinem aktuell bei ca. 12-15 litern - Ich muss aber dazu sagen das ich den Wagen erst seit 7 Tagen (ca. 2000km) habe und von diesen 2.000km waren gut 1500km unter Knallgas. Jetzt im täglichen gebrauch versuche ich ihn sparsam zu fahren - ob mir dies gelingt wird sich erst in den nächsten Wochen zeigen. Aktuell ist meiner ca. 2/3 voll und sagt mir ca. 400km restreichweite. Laut BC liege ich bei 11,7L/100km - laut Excel bei ca. 14,5
Why do you think so? It would be the worst stage 1, if it wouldn't even hit 250 km/h like a stock Golf 7 GTI... This was a rental car, definitely stock!
@@PYROWORKSTV Ive checked a few other vids for comparison. Clips of stock cars that is..... I can confirm that this car has been mapped. Anyhow a base Golf mk7 gti has better performance than this.
I think the old 3litre beast pulls better than the ST Focus I managed to Reel in a Focus ST Mk2 easily from 70mph equal up to about 120mph then he moved to middle lane and I just walked away from the Focus ST I think as the boost drops off or becomes less effective at higher speeds where the naturally aspirated 3litre just keeps pulling unto it’s top speed. I really miss my ST220😞
I have both. Still have the '02 ST220 and recently bought a '15 Focus ST3. Focus pulls much stronger, thats for sure. But 18 years old Mondeo has better general built quality and it is, and will always be a legend.
Well there are rules on the Autobahn. 1. You cannot pass cars in the right lane. You have to use the left lane to pass. 2. If you are in the left lane you have to be going faster than the cars in the right lane(s). 3. If you are in the Left lane and a car comes up behind you going faster, you have to either speed up to stay ahead of it (assuming your car is faster), or yield the lane and let the car pass you. I bought a new 1986 Dodge Omni GLH when I was stationed in Germany. Non-turbo so it's top speed was only 110 mph. But it still fun to be able to drive top speed legally. Every time I was in the Left lane though it seemed sooner or later a Mercedes come up behind me doing like 130 mph + so I had to get out of it's way. :)-
xconditioner mein Ex wohnt in Rodenkirchen. Bin jedes zweite Wochenende in Stotel abgefahren und durch den Wesertunnel. Ab HB Ende konnte man mit Glück bis Stotel mit Vollgas fahren.
ich hab auf der A27 Bremen -> Walsrode (und zurück) mit meinem locker die 250 geschafft - und es würden vermutlich noch ein paar kmh mehr gehen, allerdings kamen meist andere Verkehrsteilnehmer dazwischen. Ich neige im übrigen ehr zum ausrollen lassen bzw. zur nutzung der Motorbremse - das ist unabhängig von der gefahrenen geschwindigkeit. Fahre im übrigen den Turnier als ST...

Is 246KPH the fastest your ST will go? I thought they were good for 155MPH or 255KPH.

Ist ein Feature der Garmin VIRB XE. Über einen Bluetooth Adapter am OBDII Port kann die einige Fahrzeugdaten loggen.

mein Durchschnitt liegt aktuell bei 9,1..und ich bin nicht zurückhaltend und der Großteil der gefahrenen Strecken bisher waren Autobahnen

I've had mine up to 138 mph on a two lane highway. It had some more but was coming up on a car. Feels even faster on a skinny lil back road.

With a custom tune and higher octane fuel the car will accelerate to its top speed much quicker

Das sind 1 Hertz GPS Werte, die die Garmin Kamera aufzeichnet. Tacho 250 schafft der Wagen locker, GPS eben nicht ganz in der Ebene.
