- This is my honest review of the Fender Tone Master Super Reverb amplifier. This is not a paid review, and nobody gave me this amp. I purchased this amplifier after buying and loving the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb, and so mu commentary is 100% genuine. My $0.02, for whatever it’s worth, is that Fender is doing something right with their Tone Master series of amplifiers. What do you thing?
As for the other gear in this video, I’m using the following stuff:
2006 Fender Highway One Stratocaster modified with an AllParts SRO Fat neck, Lollar pickups in the neck & middle positions, and a custom sound Carondelet tele pickup disguised as a Strat pickup in the bridge position.
Rawkworks Light Overdrive pedal
TC Electronics Flashback delay pedal
TC Electronics Spark boost pedal
And as for the cool hat & beard products I was sporting in this video, you can find those here:

I bought one a few months back, and I`m a valve amp junkie, starting in the early seventies.. This is an amazing piece of kit and having owned a Twin the weight difference is reason enough to own one. You will soon forget it`s not a tube amp and the tone is an inspirational experience. Pro level at a sensible price. Thanks for a quality shred free review.
I went the other way. I had the super first and loved it and then found a blonde deluxe reverb tone master that I got. Just played out with it this weekend and it was fantastic. And you’re a great player!
I wonder if Fender could pull off a tone Master Bassman
Coming out in October 2024
This dude doesn’t mess around! Down to that very last sniff! 😝🤘🏻🎸🇺🇸
fantastic review, straight forward with no bs. Great amp and playing
Nice man! Love the riff at 8:30 too. Thanks for the demo
i have the tonemaster deluxe. these things are awesome. they have such a wonderful feel and u can actually crank them and get the nice overdrive. you can play any 60s music with a tele and one of these amps. playing since 1986 and really havent been as excited about a new amp like the tonemaster i bought.
Thanks for a good solid review on this Super Reverb
Great review Taylor. That bridge pickup sounds killer!
Great video. I'm leaning to get one, and this video of yours just confirmed me to get it. Thanks.
Great review,Great playing, you got the feel, incredible, yeah way ro go
I’m a big fan of all the tone masters too. 💎 gems !
Thanks Taylor, REALLY great playing & honest review - even the beard oil! Ordered this amp a few days ago as I also really like the idea of the attenuation & manageable weight while maintaining the super blackface sounds. Cheers fella, stay safe & keep on pickin'. Matt (Australia).
I’ve been using the TM Deluxe Reverb about 2 years now. Very happy with the surf rock tones I get out of it! Best part it’s only 23 pounds! Fantastic!
I bought a Duncan twang banger and put in the bridge of my Strat, it’s has a copper or brass plate. I Really like it! I Love a SR too! It has the nicest speakers of all the Tone Masters! IMO😊
Such great tone coming from the tone master , very impressive.
I have one on the way. Really nice playing man.
Sounds awesome the difference in weight is amazing. I think many people who love the super's tube tone will be buyers now simply because of the weight difference, including myself lol. Thanks great review. First video I seen of your's so 👍n subscribed
Amazing amp and even better playing. Th ask for the video my friend.
Thank you!
great review good picking great tone
great video my friend very professional too
Good job! Thanks.
I think I need one. Used to have a 67, just didn't have the money at the time to get it running right the last time.
You're a good picker! Stop by some time if you get bored
Subbed!
That sounds killer
I have a Tone Master Princeton - used to have a 66’ Bandmaster that I used with tens and twelves - up to 4 with a 335, similar tone and dynamics to tube bandmaster - but a bit tighter and I prefer that over the tube versions - I don’t bottom out at the bottom of the neck - good for jazz - nearby California Jazz Conservatory has TM Twins, saw Mike Stern there, he sounded like he was playing through his tube twins
Hi , how did you record this video? what mic? roomsound? I guess you didnt use the direct out.... great sound btw!
The brush that came in the box is for brushing your hair.
Check out the Badcat 40r Player Series, not saying it's like a Fender, but Badcats are amazing.
