In this video I'd be discussing the process of how to nominate or register your loved ones on the Krisflyer Programme so you can redeem award flights for them. I'm also giving you tips on how to redeem them so you it would be less of a hassle for you down the road.

I'm trying to add a nominee but it kept on saying "We are unable to add your nominee due to name mismatch. Please ensure that the name of the nominee in your account matches to that of your nominee's KrisFlyer account before adding his/her KrisFlyer number." but I am 100% sure the passenger details are already correct. Do you perhaps know what's wrong or how to fix this problem?
Ask the account holder for a screenshot of their details in their name. Sometimes the sequence of the name may be an issue.
Do I have to do this if I want to let my friend redeem my miles to pay in miles and cash?
Your case isn't quite as straightforward. But if you’re going to let someone redeem an air ticket using your miles then you ought to add them as an authorized nominee so yes, you'd have to.
To simplify matters, just add them as a nominee and redeem their air ticket for them hence you'd still have to do this.
Can we convert Singapore airmiles to any other miles ?
No, there isn’t any provision for this.
My wife and I are both Kris Flyer members. Can my wife nominate me, so that i can use her miles?
Yes, that can be done. Just log into her account and edit your access as an authorized nominee.
Alternatively, she can just book award flights having you as a passenger.
@@gomezgios Thank you. Neither of us have a particularly large balance 26,000 each. I will add 21,000 to my balance mid year. If i can add hers, id have 73,000 miles. Should be good for something?
@@johnskinner3108 that’s a sizeable amount actually. Both of you can fly from Singapore to Manila on economy return and still have some left. Way to go!
Or you and your wife can fly to Manila on business and return on economy with a shortfall of KF2,000 and just top up the amount at USD $40 per block of KF1,000.

I have an account. This year I will fly to Davao so with me my sister her daughter and my both parents will travel. They don't have any individual account. What would be the best option. Even if I book their tickets through my account I don't get their's miles isn't it. What could be the best option? Please enlighten me thanks in advance.
