This is the best video on how to book q-suites so far. I have been looking for many places but your video is to the point and covers all the aspects and various options as compared to other videos which only covers 1 or 2 points. Thanks for this tutorial. I always find it fascinating how others use other airline miles to book sister airline flights while adding stops in the middle...etc It's literally a halfway rocket science to me. And yes on Q Suite videos, please. I hope you end up with newer, actual Q suite and not the old one.

Great video. Are you familiar with the British Airways Multi-Carrier Award chart. Planning to book a trip that way that includes a Qatar Q-Suite but most of the availability show Business as more expensive FLEXI. Does anyone know if you can get Qatar Business Flexi using the BA Avios Multi Carrier Award chart?
That’s a great tool that most people don’t know about! I haven’t tried it with Flexi pricing, but my guess would be no, that there would need to be saver award availability for it to work. Would love to hear feedback though, if you get a chance to try it!

Maybe things have changed (a lot?) since your post but I did a significant number of searches for what you showed and I could not find one flight on QR for the 70,000 pts. what am I missing?
I’ve noticed that availability isn’t showing on the American Airlines website right now for some unknown reason. That’s one of the frustrating things in this game. You might have to search via Qatar or British Airways, which I realize is much more difficult. Fingers crossed that the AA glitch gets fixed soon!
I thought Citi primer points also can be transferred to AA. changed now?
If you have a Citibank American Airlines card, you receive AA points, but the flexible Citi Thank You points can't be transferred to AA unfortunately. If you're looking for the best way to earn AA miles quickly, you might want to check out my recent American Airlines video 😁

It can vary by route and which site you use to book. For JFK to Doha, I am seeing taxes and fees in the $300 range. On what routes and sites are you seeing that price?

I know, right?! 😅😂 Thankfully, I wasn’t Qatared, but just this week, I had a Business class ticket with Iberia, and they oversold the cabin and bumped people, including me, into Economy. I’ll be posting a video about it in a day or two!
@@MelsMilesandPoints I'm glad that you got into the suites for sure. I would be livid if I was bumped down into economy. I have a fused spine And If I had to set an economy for any longer than about 5 and 1/2 hours. I wouldn't be able to walk after. But never mind my spine... It's just the fact that points or money were used for a business experience. I will be watching out for that video for sure!
