Good work with the w123. One advice. When you install the rear windshield put some Butyl Sealant (Sika, or other one) in the rubber. It gets a better seal. Than only the rubber. From Lisbon with Love for Mercedes. Keep him on the roads. 😉

An unsolicited suggestion: Watch a couple of episodes of "Fitzee's Fabrications", here on TH-cam, for the type of welding you did around rear window. He has great technique and could prove helpful for you.
I found that just making a 90deg bend and making slits, adjusting until it's the right shape and welding everything back up is a whole lot easier. It's even simpler with a shrinker stretcher but I found ways around spending the money on it.
Invest in a shrinker and stretcher, and a small break... You can make up the widow channels in no time. Brandon, at MuscleRodShop, just finished a video making several curved pieces on some old Willys fenders.

You should change your protective clothing. Protection clothing for welding operations should cover the skin facing the arc. Strong UV can and will damage your skin and increase the risk of skin cancer. This implies your face, arms, hands, legs and core body. Furthermore the clothing has to protect you against sparks, molten metals and heat.

Interesting to see how rusty the screen surround is, given that (judging by previous videos) it looked more or less fine from the outside. W123s do seem very good at hiding corrosion. I have a W123 with a rear screen surround miles worse than this, so I'm dreading having to fix it. It's a pity there's no repair panel available for these areas. Mercedes used to make a repair panel for the centre section, but it doesn't look to extend very far into the corners, and is NLA anyway.
Long term sub and fan, you would honestly have a much easier time if you learned to dial the welder in for the material you're working with. That's 95% of the challenge with welding, especially welding patches into old cars like this.

Great job, you could use those googles for gas welding or while using a cutting torch/plasma but not for mig, tig, or arc welding, get yourself a proper auto darkening welding helmet.

You need a proper automatic welding helmet and just wear earbuds if you want music. Having a helmet that you see through normally then darkens automatically when you start welding is a godsend, especially when you're welding thin metal and doing a bunch of tack welds, with a normal helmet you're doing the whole thing blind.
Great result, you're gradually getting there and I really hope you've found a way to have that awkward conversation with the customer by now or you'll lose your shirt on this job

I always watch your videos with interest, but let me draw your attention to the following if you want to improve the quality of your work by an order of magnitude. You need to better fit the parts before welding. Also work on the quality of the weld. In addition, after removing rusty metal in such places, you should always treat the remaining iron with a rust converter. Further, such repair areas must be protected with tin. Only in this case there is a chance that all the work will not be in vain. So, I wish you good luck with all your projects but I want to ask you , how is E30 projects go in? They kinda a stuck a little bit?
You can fix the tan with a neck gaiter that you pull up over your mouth/nose. Still won't stop you from breathing the fumes, but may give you a bit more freedom of movement.
Jeez. U don't weld with those glasses, U sun burn your face off. They r meant for plasma cutting etc. Get a welders mask. Ones with auto dimming r the best for automotive use.

You should get a shrink/stretch tool. Not very expencive. Helps when doing a bent piece

you could really use a cheap 36" brake and a chinese shrinker-stretcher, would make this repair super easy and takes way less skill.
