Thank you for your series of nonprofit videos. I have used the information you've shared to start a nonprofit. Specifically on the issue of grants, I wrote my first request back in January, and the funding was just released to us! Thank you!
I love this, I am the founder of a non profit in San Francisco and we want to build this capability internally. My goal is 3 "certified" writers on a team submitting 3 proposals per week. Designed our training plan last week and we are kicking off this week.

Thanks for the knowledged you are sharing us. But I have some questions to ask, I am a freelancer on fiverr but newbie. How can someone create a portfolio for him/her profile without doing any job before?
You'll need to create some example grant proposals, or get some practice writing grants to build the portfolio if that's what you mean? :)

When you are starting out as a grant writer, how do you know what to charge?
I think it would be a combo/compromise between what you need to sustain yourself/be profitable as a grantwriting business, and what the market can afford. I'd take a look at other grantwriter's pricing to see examples, then consider scaling as you get a track record of success.

@@AmberMelanieSmith finding and identifying grants that fit our nonprofit. As you suggested, I think I’m going to take a certification and longterm that will help. As it stands we are having a hard time getting funding for projects
Hello and good afternoon I hope you are well. I started a community interest company last year where We plan to provide counselling/psychotherapy to people on benefits and low incomes but we have not yet manged to get any funding. Do you know anyone who can help ? I am in England UK thank you
If you haven't already I'd say start with a business plan, that maps out some potential funding strategies; that can give you something to take to potential donors.
