With the Quadlock case fitted to the phone, will it still work with Qi charging pad? Or will the mount on the phone be in the way? My bedside alarm clock has a Qi charging pad on top which I use frequently.
Congratulations Sam, I wish you thousands of more miles of happy motoring with your 360. As a happy owner myself of a 360 for last 16 years, I understand your joy, your pride and what it means to own a prancing horse. Cheers 🍻
@@paddymuppy Actually you're only old if you surrender to it , most people I meet on a day-to-day basis think I'm in my early thirties even though I am 50 . That's probably because I didn't get married and settle down like most people .

9:36 - 9:43 is why Sam is my favourite out of any other automotive content on TH-cam. That sunset with the transition with all the city lights at night was beautiful. 😍🤌
Congrats on 50k miles! I am SO glad someone is driving their 360 for real miles. I have a NSX that’s about to turn 100k miles (or in Honda World, “finally broken in” 🤣) and that I also take on road trips. Keep driving, Sam! Beautiful car, and hello from the USA.
Funny you do a phone mount promotion...I've been struggling a lot finding a good phone mount for ages. They all seem the same; dull, fimsy, unable to handle the weight of a phone (and if they can, it seems to go wrong after a few months). I'm 100% going to try Quadlock.
The time lapse shot of Monaco going from dusk to dark is incredible. Absolutely live this video. Your enthusiasm for your beloved 360 resonates with me so much. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great vid, thanks. It's funny you said about your 360 and Monaco - I was on holiday in the South of France in September '99 and spent a day in Monaco, and saw my first 2 360s. The first was a Grigio Alloy coupe just outside Monaco, then a Rosso Corsa coupe parked outside a dealer in the middle of town. Also, it's great you use it - the memories are real...you won't get memories looking at it in a Carcoon doing zero miles. My parents bought a new Mondial QV in August '84 - sold it 18 months later with 14000 miles. It never missed a beat, and every mile was done for pleasure. On the continent they tend to use their Ferraris much more than we do in the UK.
10:28 this guy in the Lambo is a pretty big youtuber (1.72M subs) : GMK. You can check out his channel he did a lap of Monaco circuit in his car during the F1 week, but the catch is that the Prince Of Monaco was driving the car. Of course, it's in French and I'm not sure there are subtitles.
Love the sentiment about high mileage cars. It's so easy to get caught up in "residual anxiety" and miss out on the experiences we could have by actually driving these incredible machines. Bravo, Sam!
I've been using Quad Lock in my car and on the bikes since forever and also casing saved my phone many times when i dropped it, so yeah, I can confirm Quad Lock is a great mount/case product, cool to see they sponsored you :) Great video as always Sam!
I've always made it a mission to upgrade my Vettes, I've owned six and loved them all but always wanted to "keep up" but this video was the "last nail" My current (AND LAST) Vette is my 2014 Torch Red C7 1LT 7MT Z51 Convertible (black wheels and calipers) with 17, 890 miles. I've modded it nicely between the easy performance upgrades (CAI, short shift kit and exhaust) and some cosmetic mods (Z06 grill, front and side skirts, underflow vanes added in the rear, valence, various interior mods such as red knobs, armrest and a few carbon fiber bits capped off by my new d-shaped wheel, carbon fiber, with red leather and built in digital displays. She's paid for, and I've owned her now for four years. I started looking at C8's and have a good enough relationship with my dealer, the sales manager had a nice base 2020 with 6,000 miles that he would sell for list (well, something good from buying all those Vettes) and giving me 47.5K for mine (I paid 52K i n 2018 with 4.5K on the odo). This is the longest I've ever owned a Vette and, partially after watching this video, I've decided this is it. Besides losing the manual and the conv, it came down to being 67 years old and deciding, today, that I've got my "carmate". Will I still drool? Of course! I love my bride of 42 years but I still "admire" the site of an attractive woman.....nuff said and thanks for the assist!
Congratulations Sam to you and your beautiful 360 on reaching a fantastic milestone. Your passion, enthusiasm and excitement in every video is addictive. Thank you!
what a video man the shots ,the journey with ur car and the trip, the monatges, the old school monaco car spotting, all combined with so so much shared passion absolutely amazing woow just felt like the conclusion was a bit dull but nvm
I enjoyed this video! Not sure what was more entertaining…your sound affects for the phone mount (lol) or the perfect music choices in Monaco. Keep going Sam! Great content!
@@seenthroughglass The car was faultless both ways....no air con though in those days. No, sadly it was sold for a 365 GTC/4 - it made around £5250 I seem to remember at the time....a profit on what I paid for it, but seems utter madness now (it was a flares and chairs GTS as well)
Fantastic video Sam it’s brilliant that you’ve driven your 360 and not “garage queened” it, owning a Ferrari and not driving it on great roads would be a terrible thing.
It's funny how many small details people don't notice if they are only watching the video like how much a microphone can improve the video's quality and also the color grading, planning the script for the video and putting all those clip in the right way in order to make a proper story that's catchy for the people. I didn't realize this until I started doing youtube videos myself. Anyway.. great video as always. I'm still waiting for the day I'll film my very first supercar.
Sam, The Tomaso P72 will start be delivered mid 2023 I have been told by the manager. Also to know all are sold/spoke for. The development is still ongoing (close to Nurnburgring) and the heavy (=weight) V8 of Ford will be replaced by inhouse build V12 of less 130KG!!!!! The total weight (wet, including 100Lit of fuel) will be around 1280KG, hypercar county The development is also structural as badyparts are made honeycone carbon and suspension is improved. It can really drive on the road to the race track and race as is (and win)... The legacy of Enzo.
Congratulations on turning that 50K corner. All the love and respect for people who actually use their cars. To me the 296 isn't a replacement for the 360. It's the modern day Dino, inspired by Prius.
Great video Sam!! I feel the same way as you about Monaco, as cliché as i sounds there is something special about it. Now we finally did something about it and bought an apartment in Cap-Martin, the neighbour of Monaco with much better prices on real estate. I agree Quad Lock are some of the best phone mounts. I have one for my car (wireless chaging adapter) and one for my motorbike. I also have their screen protector. If it's good enough for the madness of Charlie Borman's riding then it's good enough for me. Great video as always.
Sam I agree. The Quad lock is brilliant. I have used it for several years to mount my Golf Trolley GPS. The system is amazing quality, for bicycles, motorcycles , cars etc. you won’t find better anywhere. Amazing, and I have to pay full price for mine. ( not a snipe Sam a full endorsement).

RAM mounts also pretty good. Quite a bit more money though.

It's funny how young people think 20 years is a long time , I was 30 when that car was made and it seems like yesterday .
20year old car is old, left or right!
That’s a quarter of life expectancy on average in the uk, of course it’s a long time
Because they are young and you are old
That's how age and time works.

The ferrari 360 got me into the cars Superspeeder is the OG.
Aged well? You mean the design or sams car? If it’s the car it’s like triggers broom. 🤣🤣
The 430 is nicer imo but the 360 is decent. The design lacks a bit of complexity but better than the F8.
Your cinematography is awesome. Especially the type of music exactly matches the scenes you shoot. Epic, absolutely epic. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
