Agreed. And to some extent like Harry, Sam gives us great travel scenes and tells us like it is as opposed to sensationalizing every car experience. BTW, I'd far rather have this Ferrari than a garage queen that barely runs.
So happy that you credited Harry Metcalfe as part of your inspiration for this. Never doubted your integrity but there are many who would not have done so. Appreciate your content as do I Harrys’. Keep up the good work, you are one of my favourites.
I started watching this video just to find out if he credited Harry, thinking "If he pretends this is his idea, I will unsub right now". Good thing that was not the case.
I took my Defender, didn’t have to worry about bad roads, to Morocco in March, fantastic country and the people are amazing, so friendly and welcoming.
Great video Sam! I admire your organisation and preparation skills. Each time I’ve done a road trip it’s booked about 12 hours before my eurotunnel crossing.
A viewer here since the car spotting days. Thanks for reinventing yourself on the content, you can bring for us the emotion of the adventure and capture in the best way on the videos. It's so cool to see your appetite for creating something unique in this universe of social media/TH-cam.
As a Moroccan, i always get anxious whenever my favorite youtubers visit the country since i want them to have a great experience, and I’m glad the trip went as planned for you. Looking forward to part.2.
If u have the time and money. Do it. Its unbelievable. I've been to morocco 5 times. My brother in law lives in Dubai and is always asking me cone. For me Morocco any time over Dubai.
What an adventure! Only on STG can you see a 360 be driven in the desert, the quality of the content is as always outstanding! Thank you for bringing us such different content, i don't understand why this channel doesnt have 2 million subscribers like seriously!!
I hope the video gets the attention it deserves at your viewers. Great content! Road trips are the best with you, you just catch the emotions and places very well
The final shot with the Ferrari and the dunes in the back was so epic to see. As a Moroccan, i'm so glad that you are enjoying it so far, and cannot wait to see whats coming next.
What a journey! Saw you and your 360 here in Porto yesterday and it was really nice to see a car that I saw for years on TH-cam right in front of me! Can't wait to see the Portugal videos!
The way Sam says.. 24:55 “ what a moment “… it sure is a moment.. big big appreciation Sam.. you’re in your own way of creating automotive content.. keep it up.. love watching these kinda trips brother 😍🥂.. big applause 💐💐
What a great adventure Sam, really appreciate the great filming, as not everyone realises how fiddly it is to keep stopping to get all that b-roll and the time you invest into such a great production. Your cheery outlook on life and positive mindset makes this a really enjoyable escape from the normal treadmill of life! Keep the great content coming and thank you! 👍
That scene of the Ferrari blasting away, deeper into the desert, that was beautiful. It almost felt as epic and nice as when a herd of mustangs are galloping through the wilderness.
This is what we call content. Also love how you tastefully modify and protect your vehicles as well - I'm very similar; spending money on genuine parts and high quality OEM recommended parts preserves these wonderful vehicles.
Thank you for visiting Morocco! We love you so much. I've been following you for years now. It is an honor to have you here. Welcome to your second country!
@@LegioIII. I drove on Tichka Mt. Road many times and I can assure that the thrill is always the same when you engage in a hard corner and a truck is coming on the other side, you always think that it will not pass and magically pull it off.. non stop adrenalin 😂
Incredible! I prayed for more Ferrari 360 videos from “Seen Through Glass” yesterday and today there is a new video! PRAYERS ANSWERED! Omg this is amazing
Great adventure. Love the 360 and all it’s miles. Your road trip stories are the best. Tell us more about the food and coffee and hotels and culture!! Especially the food lol.
I always end up being very inspired by all your videos, even though i've been following you for so long, you haven't lost that special touch. You make me want to take my completely normal VW Passat tdi and go for crazy roadtrips just to create memories. Thank you.
before watching your video watched Harry Metcalfe's video of his journey in a Ferrari Testarossa I still remember that there is a TIZI N'TICHKA road in Morocco, Henry wrote about it a long time ago
“This is literally the scene that I dreamed of” @24min - thank you for sharing your dreams with us, and making them come true in incredible fashion! Your videos are amazing both visually and the sound design is also fantastic!
What a wonderful adventure and amazing video (like most of yours)! It is also very timely for me as last fall I bought my "modern classic", an '02 C5 Z06 Corvette. Now of course it is no Ferrari but it had only 30K miles on it and is all stock and in like new condition. I drove it home 2500 miles home loving every minute of the trip, and then parked it in the garage for winter. Now that spring is here I thought about selling it because I live on a dirt road and it is impossible to keep the car clean. I had this notion that I should try to preserve the car in its like new condition and not put a lot of miles on it. After watching how much you are enjoying your car and using it as it should be, I have come to realize that my previously mentioned notion is foolery. I will not sell the car and instead, start driving it as much as I can enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for the inspiration!
Only you would take a 20 year old Ferrari to the desert in Morocco , but by god you do it so well ...Content , production and music choice as usual always on point , Bring on the next drive the world !!
Thank you for sharing your incredible journey to the Sahara in the stunning Ferrari 360 Modena. Really enjoyed every second of this video. And you're so right, the 360 Modena is definitely a modern classic.
I had a thought about heat management in Desert. By the logic it would be more difficult. But i did some digging and turns out that as air moisture content decreases the thermal conductivity increases. Reason for that is that water vapor will expand more with heat than regular air, therefore moist air will have lower amount of "stuff that dissipates heat away". But the overall heat conductivity difference at 40'c (0% moisture vs 100% moisture) would be about 2%. Biggest difference comes in at about 90'c, at about 20%
One of my favourite videos!!! I love you just being a car guy... we all dream of doing these things and you do them!! Thank you for taking us along for the ride Sam 🙌
Cool trip! Remember going to Morocco nearly 20 years ago and our taxi had to pull over in the dark for an oncoming convoy - it was the King of Morocco who goes at night because he liked to drive the Bentley himself, which I thought was rather cool!
reminds me when we met a Russian with a blue Ferrari in the boat to Morocco. He was planning to trek around the desert as well !! I hope he had fun and found his way around
If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were in Arizona driving from Phoenix heading towards San Diego on Interstate 8. Americanesque indeed! Looking forward to more of your adventure.
Absolutely unreal!! Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure Sam. Been with you since the TTRS days - amazing to see your channel continuing to grow into one of the best out there! :D
That you prep'd the car like that was fantastic. I always hoped someone would replicate Harry's Africa trip! Who else could do it but you? You're the car guy's car guy.
You know what's really different about your videos than others. You had be stayed engaged in the video most the way through. Unlike say shmee 150s bideos where he gets in a car and in monotone voice meanders on about absolutely nothing for 35 minutes. Love your stuff mate. You deserve all the views and subscribers
Sam, what an epic adventure! Loved every minute of this video, some fantastic shots and scenes as always, but particularly close to me as I've spent time driving in Morocco before myself. Great that you took the 360 down there, very inspiring! And that last shot was one to keep for sure! Look forward to part 2!
What an epic adventure! Those are memories to keep forever, exactly what the car was built for

How I wish you would come to Morocco🇲🇦 with one of your car❤️

All the best for your trip!! There was that part at the hotel where harry fixed the car while drinking a cuppa tea.

As a Moroccan I am so proud that culture is so various and unpredictable, you should discover more in Morocco.
