@@amazingjason455 I'm pretty sure he used a 360 degree camera. And most likely he used a product by Insta360. I use one myself and love it. And yes he put in a lot of work to produce this video. Great job!!!

This is the first Lotus that is visually appealing to ne in terms of styling since the Esprit that takes us back to the 1970's and Roger Moore.
Crisp design on those rear view mirrors, the instrument binnacle is perfect, no clutter like most of the cars out there, the lounge chairs appear to be somewhat overwhelmingly but the rear lamp cluster is really nice.
I need to find a dealer urgently as the young man did not tell us what size engine it has? I assume that it is naturally aspirated?
The most important feature is the manual gearbox, that alone is worthy of an accolade, how very rare! Excellent!

This a remapped Evora with a heavy facelift inside and out... And I love it. Will definitely try to get one in the near future.
This video, and the Harry's garage one, are the only two which have made the car really stand out in my opinion, such a cool car but the only way to show it off is to really use it
Merry Christmas Sam. This channel really has come a long way. Your filming and editing is so much better than the other English channels, some may put out more content like Shmee but again, you’re delivering videos that are really enjoyable to watch.
Apple Carplay and Android Auto were standard on the last few years of the Evora. Also, the Evora is very easy to daily drive. I'm not sure why so many people are afraid of actually driving them and keep them locked away in garages. Underneath they are very similar cars to the new Emira, the interior just isn't as modern but it has back seats and a bit more storage behind the front seats for groceries, bags etc.

13:28 ahh yes, the little lay-by where i was parked myself some day in August and had the glorious idea to venture onto the hills only to end up not even close to the summit but also counting ticks that were crawling all over me. quirky little start to my 5-week Scotland road trip haha

Amazing, just amazing, this is the first time i come across your channel, and alsow the first video reviewing the Emira, and for sure i can say I don't need to watch any other, by the third minute of the video I automatically smashed the like and subscribe buttons. The videography, the professionality, the work behind cameras, the knowledge of what you are talking about, the closeness that transmits the video, and to round all up the location and the roads you decided to put the Emira on, are the dream all of us if we had the Emira.

Absolutely stunning, professional top grade video! I do feel however that you must get through a lot of cameras, driving off and leaving them at hotels, fuel stations etc 😉
As for the car, it’s stunning! 85% of a Ferrari with 30% of the cost, a baby Ferrari I can afford before I’m too old and weak to push the accelerator.

An evolution, rather than evolution. Excellent seats by the way. Very comfortable. Proof you don't need crazy power to have fun.
Tyres: Fast road, get Mich PS4(S for track) tyres, very focused but very high noise levels. For touring use Hankook Ventus S1 EVO 3 tyres. Great lateral grip but quiet, good wet weather performance. Very good fuel economy, and good wear performance. Best all-rounder.
The juxtaposed imagery of the beautiful Lotus and the old architecture is epic!
As an italian I say I'd love to own this car! Don't get too wide, big, and unusable on B roads, Emira, and you'll be fine! Great job, Lotus.

Didn’t touch the radio once (never have) and also returned 50mpg!

Side note, if my math is correct it looks like you are paying over 8 dollars a gallon in the UK. Ouch, I paid $3.80 yesterday for 91 octane, our highest grade here in Arizona.

So happy you took the time to properly understand this car. It is clearly obvious the more time spent with it (particularly in touring spec) the better it is. I have no idea why anyone would spec the sports setup in a road based car *cough schmee cough cough.

After owning 2 evoras it’s the powertrain that keeps me looking elsewhere. Not that it’s bad (and I happened to really like the shift feel in my ‘20 GT), but it’s a million years old and feels it, and becomes much more apparent as you spend more time with it. It just doesn’t react the same way as any other marque’s engines from the last 7+ years

NC500, summer and that lotus perfect. Great move for the company make a £80k sports car with the looks of a supercar. Build them to a good quality and they are on to a winner. It’s got a baby Ferrari look about it and I like that. Always appreciate the miles Sam can handle did Glasgow to London and back over a weekend Fri,Sat,Sun in a great comfy Car and still it wiped me, but then again I’d not been on a lot of roads so less relaxed.
As always, killed it with the content and the video quality. Great review that shows the whole picture. Plus, what a good looking car!

I think the 2L AMG engined version of this car with a DCT could be the sweet spot.
