- We got to hear from the Devs about Locations and I have all the take aways from that conversation. This video will give you all the informaiton you need to know about the locations coming in Series 3: Into the Inklands.

I love when Devs open up to the community and reveal things and answer questions. I have been part of multiple games where I have had the privilege of being in a creator program to get this type of interaction so it was fun to see this was open to the public.
I am think a Ruby Location that is 7 uninkable, 10 Willpower has an ability. At the start of your turn, banish a character. Sapphire could be either add an extra ink to the inkwell or any characters on location gains Ward.
I repeatable Maleficent Dragon every turn seems super strong, but I could see them doing some abilities like banishing a character when it comes into play or the extra ink idea seems fun too.
@@DefaultDan It could be a bit over powered the banishing. Could also be like an additional Shield of Virtue like ready 1-2 characters, but they cannot quest.
What about Lore gain? As we know Location will generate Lore at Open phase of your turn, having said that would we gain lore in thebfirst turn that we played the location or do we need to wait for the next turn?
you will gain the lore on the following turn, not the turn played :) as you stated it happens at beginning of turn so it needs to come back around to the beginning of your turn. But that is a great question and I bet one we will hear a lot at the prerelease events!

Why? Bodyguard doesn't protect locations. That was even covered in the video.
Do you have to have a character at a location to gain the lore at the start of your turn, or, in this locations case, do you just play it and leave it up on the field and gain one lore at the start without putting any character there?
Great question! The answer is no. You will gain the lore each turn even if there are no characters on it
There is no inherent reason to move a character to a location.
@@alfredosaint-jean9660 Other than if it is a character like the new Lost Boys Emerald Peter Pan that gets you more Lore when he moves there.
can I challenge characters at a locations? Or do I have banish the location first?
you can still challenge the characters at the location. So the only reason for moving a character to a location is if the location or the character get a bonus based on their card text. Everything else works the same as it does now.
I bet a 9 ink death star is coming that destroys the location and all characters.
I mean, I think it needs to happen now that we are seeing good locations being spoiled for sure

Nope. They come in sideways and are always sideways. You just always get the lore each turn, they don’t actually ready or exert

Yep! It’s Disney’s TCG game. It was hard to find but they have been reprinting it hard and it’s becoming readily available. I have quite a few videos in the works to start putting out on it because I’m loving it! 😁
