- Paddy Cullivan makes a case for the County of Donegal to secede from the Republic of Ireland and more to the point, the EU. Speaking about Ireland's history and Europe's current affairs, Paddy makes a compelling case that small is beautiful and that globalization should be resisted. Paddy Cullivan is the third wheel of the Leviathan Political Cabaret along with Naoise Nunn and David McWilliams. He is also a writer and performer on Oliver Callan's first-rate RTE Satire vehicle 'Callan's Kicks' and has performed his unique brand of freewheeling political polemic at Kilkenomics, The Dartington Interrogate Festival and the Limerick Spring. His band, the Camembert Quartet, are the House Band on the Late Late Show and his multimedia historical shows 'Solutionism', 'The 10 Dark Secrets of the Irish Revolution' and '26 + 6 equals 1' have been performed all over Ireland and beyond. when I was little my Dad told me about The Hebrides & that we might be a wee bit Irish. Later I found out Grandpa was from Donegal. I checked into it & was pleased 1st time I saw the Coat of Arms. love the green & gold. Lettermacaward was mentioned in Grandpa's papers. loved Clannad for years in my youth. Enya became popular in USA while I was in college.
I move to reinstate the O'Donnell dynasty. Those opposed have a republic to run to.

I'm Welsh and speak Welsh but I love the Gaeltacht; sometimes listen to RTE in the car-makes more sense than BBC Radio 4- I ascertained one word- Agos (?);in Welsh-'Close'; apparently it means 'and' in the Gaelic; not the most useful in any conversation !
